Good afternoon! Thank you Lenny for this excellent video, so clear and well filmed, and also the weather looks fine. The Grenadiers Band is really very good, they have played two of my favorite marches "Back to the Camp" & "Action Front"! And then, so glad to see the Extraordinary Iconic Gareth Chambers, my favorite SDM, with his inimitable style!! A special saturday afternoon, i enjoyed this Changing Guards! Nice weekend to everyone!
Beautiful clear video, as ever😎 Pleasing both those who watch to see the bands and also those who watch to see the guards. It’s a lovely march list played extremely well by the band who are lead, of course by SDM Chambers, giving his customary masterclass of style with military precision. Thank you for sharing👍
Brilliant Video Lenny! Beautiful sounding French Horn at 11:52 & 14:43!! The Clarinets at 2:40 onwards are just Spiffing! Well done Band of the Grenadier Guards! The marches played were, 1) 0:01-H. M. Jollies 2) 2:11-Arromanches 3) 6:06-Namur ( *Return to Barracks* ) 4) 7:26-Unter den Linden 5) 10:03-Back to Camp (Abmarsch in die Quartiere) 6) 12:39-Action Front! (Klar Zum Gefecht!)
Wonderful video, band and guards, the first tune as they come out is beautiful, H M Jollies. They’re all great to hear, (of course I know the name of the first one played because of Delvin!)😅
Thank you for another good recording Lenny. SDM Chambers is outstanding and I thought the side drummer was particularly good. The whole band sounded great.
No drummer expert myself and I do tend to agree, but isn't it partly to do with how the director of music wants the marches to be played? When I see drummers in other bands playing without all the fills, I am assuming that's not because they're incapable..
@@sli3972good question. There’s one band whose time beater beats the heck out of their drum and I love it. There’s another band whose drummer really gets into it with, “H M Jollies.”
Thoroughly enjoyable! In the centre of the band, there is an Officer marching with them but does not have an instrument - please tell me what his function is as I don't know - thanx so much! from South Africa 🖐👋
@BeverleyGrobelaar I think it's most likely the Director of Music (DoM) who amongst other things will conduct the band when they're playing music standing stationary during the formal part of the guard-change ceremony inside Windsor Castle.
British grenadier guard band marches play Incredible video Lenny but appropriate 11:52 & 14:43!! the player french horn and clarinets it's beautiful Im love it 😊📯🎺🎷🥁💂🏻
Hello Emirsyahsatria!! Question, is there really a need to post a second march list? Specially if you already know mines there? I understand you said you wanted to learn them, but I don't seem to understand how posting another march list is helpful! You're more than welcomed to copy and paste my lists onto a docs/file and learn them that way. Just slightly confusing, that's all! Have a great weekend!

@@Emirsyahsatria OK, sorry but that's not really answering my question. Really? You're suggesting I "cheat" while doing these lists? Ha, How awful. I take pride in what I do, I don't use technological shortcuts. All my knowledge is down to extensive research, not pressing a button and asking a device to do it for me.
@@Emirsyahsatria Seriously, It's just a bit ridiculous at this point. Now you've added the "French Horn and Clarinet comments" I also posted. How funny! Be yourself stop copying others. Good heavens! 🙄😬🤣
@@Emirsyahsatria I rather agree with Delvin! To suggest that he uses technology to produce his march list is a tad insulting to say the least. His lists, along with other information he generously shares, are derived from his quite phenomenal knowledge, gained from assiduous research and aided by an extremely good memory.
Keep uploading these type of videos. The quality is gorgeous!!❤
