Nissan listened to its customers and gave us what we asked for. Everything is perfect about this truck. People will complain about the plastic on the front end but I see it as a plus because less painted area to get rock chipped. Love the trim piece that goes across the the tailgate(throw back to the hardbody). I absolutely love the wheels and the interior. I can’t wait to get one. Tried and true drivetrain, boxed frame and really good looks.
I am always happy when I see a notification from Bembli 😊 Over all well done Nissan Good design thankfully they didn’t joined the trend in automotive world
Great review. I watched this once before, came back to watch again. Forgot how well you covered design features with your pen. Definately the best review out there, comparing 2024 to 2025 update. Keep up the good work. Thinking of getting the Pro 4X in Cayenne Red Metallic. The orange looks sharp too.
Nissan is smart making more features standard across trims. Back in the second gen the only option on the P4X was the premium package which was around 3K. I like that they are doing away from nickel and diming and messing with the bundles. In contrary to that Toyota is the polar opposite with making almost everything an expensive option. And they are charging insane prices for simple features. Its how you now have SR5's running over 45K.
Having "FRONTIER" in bold orange letters on the dash is utterly ridiculous! If I bought it, I know damn well what I bought. I don't need to stare at it all day. Any vehicle that does this is just self absorbed nonsense.
I’m curious as to what was done by Nissan to increase the payload and towing capacity? Specifically? Does anybody know? Would this be something that would apply to the previous 2 model years?
They should've an option for last year's grill, but the updated interior. I don't like this new grill, It looks big and bulky. It's got that hideous looking three rings that the Nissan Pathfinder used to have. and they should have an option for at least 18/19 inch wheels.
A 6' bed sounds great but my 2024 Pro x barely fits in my garage. If I removed everything behind the truck, I could park a 6" bed in the garage but there would be less than 1 foot of space between the back bumper and wall and front end and garage door. Not something I would want to do on a regular basis.
hi i would like to request that maybe you could refresh the first gen nissan armada front look to look more "at the present/modern", i have concepts in mind but i would like to see others.
At first look it's a decent upgrade, but not a fan of that black bar across the tailgate. It just pops out and pokes you in the eye! Not crazy about the Frontier logo on the dash, but looks like they are following Toyota that has an even bigger Tacoma logo on it's dash!
After looking at the Toyota, GM, Ford offerings in midsize, the Pro 4X sits in my driveway. Not a fan of 4cyl turbos AMF/DMF and the higher price tags.
I wish Nissan have 3 slotted on the Nissan Frontier like the Nissan Hardbody but, my wish answered by Nissan. I surprised Bembli not talked about the 2025 Nissan Fairlady having retro style of the 90s Nissan Hardbody w \ the 3 slotted. I hated Nissan stapled Frontier named on the grill it's too cheap to me but, he love it. Good on Nissan still keeping the V6 engine unlike Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon, Toyota Tacoma killed off V6 " for emissions laws ". The 2025 Nissan Frontier having long bed option now. I thinking buying the 2025 Nissan Fairlady over the 2025 Toyota Tacoma any day.
The new front end looks very Euro now. More bulbous and soft, less aggressive and sharp. Probably Nissans attempt to maintain family resemblance (Pathfinder) now that the Titan is dead. Or, perhaps, this is Nissan getting buyers used to Euro looks since the next gen Frontier will be based off of the global Navara truck. The lack of a fully digital guage cluster and projector headlights are the most glaring omissions and hurt the new Frontier the most in it's ability to compete with the current crop of midsize trucks. I lament the use of the 12.3" touchscreen, though, i understand why they did it since everybody else has a giant screen now. For one thing, i feel like it looks slapped on, and it inturupts the flow and theme of the dash, which looked more intentinal with the 9" unit. Though, it still looks significantly more integrated than the Tacomas tacked-on touchscreen. But more importantly, the 12.3" touchscreen itself really is terrible. Basically, it is split into two screens which have very small print and buttons, and a teeny backup camera. By contrast, the old 9" unit featured a single screen with large and easy to use and read buttons and a larger backup camera. Bigger isn't always better....
This obsession with screens is 'outdated' nothing wrong whatsoever with the previous versions screen. Ill take the 8" in my current F150 over my wifes laptop-esq screen any day for safety and ease of use. Manufacturers keep bumping up screen sizes, charging consumers more when they are so much cheaper to equip than analog clusters and controls.
i'm not an expert on small utes (trucks) in usa but why would someone buy this over say the new toyota tacoma or even ford ranger ? ford ranger here in australia is very popular x
Looking at the green and the orange one side by side, I think Nissan screwed it up. They had a good thing going. Nissan just cannot get out of their own way. The green one looks awesome. That Orange one looks terrible in the front.
Not enough to trade in my 23 Pro-4x... same crappy steering wheel, no lane keep assist, same crappy back up camera and probably the standard nav software. The plastic across the back is an added cost and is gimmicky. They stretched out the display to be able to claim 12", but didn't increase the height. Instead, they waste space with a 1" FRONTIER badge.
What do y'all think about filling in the Frontier Stamp in the back with black lettering so it stands out? I'm gonna get the 2025 and just curious about what that would look like! I know there must be a way to do that on a computer, I just don't know how! ???
I’m curious as to what was done by Nissan to increase the payload and towing capacity? Specifically? Does anybody know? Would this be something that would apply to the previous 2 model years?
I read on another video from a guy who works at the Frontier plant that there were some small tweaks to the frame that made it even more beefy and subsequently increased 500# towing across all trims
Nissan has identified everything that has changed in 2025 and has not made an engine, transmission, suspension, or braking upgrade. So I would assume it is a paper change and all 2022s - 2025s would technically have the same tow rating.
Nissan listened to its customers and gave us what we asked for. Everything is perfect about this truck. It’s the best mid-sized truck IMO.
Only thing I complain about is the water pump is inside the engine ran by the timing chain
The three vents above the grill were on the original and current Pathfinder, so I appreciate the nostalgic touch
Goes back to the Hardbody of the 80s and 90s.
2 time 3rd gen Taco owner here. 25 Frontier will be my next truck. Nissan nailed it with the refresh.
Yes they did.
I am always happy when I see a notification from Bembli 😊
Over all well done Nissan
Good design thankfully they didn’t joined the trend in automotive world
The Frontier is the last "true" truck. Mad respect for Nissan.
Thank you! Best review yet, thank you for doing the side by side shots! Better than all the big channels.
The Pro4X should be about 2" higher
Nismo lift kit OEM
Everything looks great except for that gigantic Frontier logo below the Infotainment…just too big. 👍
I would rather have the frontier logo stamped above the grill then on the dash lol I know what truck I bought
Love the 3 slots on top of the grille. Great retro touch

I used to have a 2014 frontier and now I bought a 23 Tacoma but at some point I’m probably gonna go back to a frontier do miss my old one.😂
What made you go for Tacoma over 23 frontier? Just curious
This is the ultimate truck

I hope Nissan sells a ton of these.
Just 3 weeks ago I got my 2024 pro4x. The only upgrades I would like to have are the rims and the telescopic steering wheel. This truck is superb
2 dealers told me they have the new steering ???? Can't believe a salesman even on the phone!
I got mine 5 weeks ago, I'm sure you could order a 2025 steering column and swap it over like the wheels
@JJsGA I was thinking about that, too. It's probably easy to swap.
@@diegovn should be fairly easy and pretty much a one for one swap
@@D41Michigan because I am a small guy, I will definitively look into it
I’m curious as to what was done by Nissan to increase the payload and towing capacity? Specifically? Does anybody know? Would this be something that would apply to the previous 2 model years?
does it come with "Traffic Jam Assist" as part of the ACC?
they need to move the rear axle a bit to the back and offer longer bed.

Front and rear lockers and an actual offroad model with fox or some other fantastic shock company and ventilated front seats
50k mid sized trucks?
Best is Pro4X now available with 6 ft bed!
A 6' bed sounds great but my 2024 Pro x barely fits in my garage. Breaking news Toyota is bringing back the V6 engine in the 2025 Toyota Tacoma!!!
Do you think of doing Nilu27?

Lol
bro might actually be first 🙏
Nuh uh, I was first and deleted my comment

This is basically what the new tacoma should've been

That big "FRONTIER" under the infotainment screen has got to go.fugly!
A subtle gray paint would look nice
Where is the new video for Audi A6 Etron?!

Funny. Really dislike the “Frontier” on the front grill. I like the new front grill way better.
What's funny is that honda and nissan have a partnership, and the grill looks pretty similar to the new honda passport

Probably because people don't want turbo engines here. And we don't get the diesel versions you get.
@@billzkustomz price is real deal aswell!!!

This should've been the next generation Navara.. I don't like our Navara here.. I want frontier

Why didn't you review the new Audi A6
Circling the wheels AGAIN with his digital pen. Who would know wheels if he did not circle them. LOL!
Looks kinda boring from the side. Front and back looks nice though.
Please do the new a6 review! Really curious what you think🙏🏼
With the low MPGs, I could have a V8
Hope they give wheel options, I like the old ones better
Those new wheels are ugly, looks like steel wheels.

Still has a bland look. If trucks were in a beauty contest the Colorado wins.
It looks like everything else (sigh)...
