U did a great service to Wales and I hope u'll be honoured as one of the celebrities of the Welsh language of the 21st century for it
I am so glad that a Brazillian achieved this! The Welsh people suffered a lot in the past and always is nice to have good people coming into Wales bringing the best they have. The welsh people are friendly! All the best!

Amazing! You care more about cymraeg than some Welsh people. 😁 I'm Welsh and learning cymraeg. The way I see it if you call yourself Welsh then you are.
Actually if you say 'Fi'n Gymro / Gymraes' the natural implication is that you speak Welsh. So certainly speaking the language makes you Welsh, wherever you were born or live. It's one of the nicest things about Cymreictod, anyone who can be bothered can join.
I came across this since I wondered whether one could do the UK citizenship test in a British language other than English (I thought it should only be right that anyone could take full part in British legal matters in Gaelic or Welsh).
I really do appreciate you saying that you wanted to affirm the role of Welsh language identity as part of Britishness! I've been learning Welsh for almost a year now, and it reveals much of the shared history of this island when you realise that plenty of place names originate in Old Welsh/Brythonic, such as Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Kirkcaldy etc.
Nominally, I am indeed English and I appreciate that element of my identity (and speak it almost adequately). Nonetheless, /British/ always spoke to me of something greater, something that encompasses the various customs and cultures of this land: Britain, Prydain, Albion.

Hi Rodolfo! I’m also Brazilian, and your English and your Welsh are so good! I’m 11 years old and I really want to learn Welsh and Scottish Gaelic, but firstly Welsh, do you have any tips or how you learned it, I love the Welsh language and I’d really like to be a fluent speaker of it. Love from Brazil 🇧🇷
There are lots of places (including quite a few online) where you can get a basic start on Welsh. Once you've mastered - say - a few thousand basic words, and the present / past periphrastic (the 'beginner' verb tenses in Welsh are incredibly easy, as these things go) the BBC does a learner podcast called 'Pigion' ['Points'] which you can download and listen to a Welsh presenter talk about simple / intermediate topics in simple / intermediate Welsh. It's actually a neat way to fall asleep, since Welsh you don't quite understand can be a really soothing language.
