Eternally grateful that I found this song today.
I have no idea how to describe the feeling this piece of art gives. When I heard it for the first time I just immediately envisioned me and my future lover just driving at night, with him in the driver's seat, driving us home after a long and busy day. Having this song play on the journey, and suddenly the loudness of the world just disappears. We're both just in the car, the dashboard being illuminated by the street lights as we drive, and I look at him and smile. And he looks back and notices me smiling, and puts his hand on my shoulder. Just feeling safe. And cared for. Like I'm in good hands, and neither the loudness of the world or the chaos in my brain could ruin that moment for me. Things just feeling tranquil, even for a second.
That's what this song reminds me of. Hopefully it'll happen one day. But I thank you for making this incredible treasure.
