My favorite time of the day is after supper is finished, dishes are washed & I can put on my pjs & lay back in my recliner & watch tv with my hubby. We are approaching our 46th anniversary in July.

I don't often comment simply because I usually think anything that I have to say could be or has been more eloquently said by someone else. You have a beautiful home and very beautiful style. You should never think that you are a failure. I have the problem when I feel overwhelmed I sometimes shut down and can't do anything and I often feel overwhelmed. That is when I feel like a failure. I have lost a lot of faith in people, especially those one the internet (another reason I don't often comment), because there is so much anonymity people feel like they can be vicious and cruel and no one can stop them. Never take what they say to heart. You have an amazing message to share and I feel privileged to be one of those that you share it with. Thank you.

I’ve always felt like someone who has to have control over almost every aspect of life. But, circumstances have caused me to drop to my knees many nights, crying to God to give me patience and the strength to let go of some things. In a way, it has been freeing to be able to accept the fact that I cannot do all things and be all things for everyone in my life. It gets easier. And, I’ve definitely got your back sister!!

I will soon be 73 years old and am still working on myself and learning. I hated to hear you are having struggles with protecting your channel from cyber harassment. I could hear and see the stress this is causing you. I will be including you and James in my prayers for protection.
New Subscriber Alert! I'm really pleased to have discovered a fellow childless homemaker. I follow many homemakers... who didn't have children when I first transitioned to the Grateful Homemaker Lifestyle. Fast-forward a few years, they all have newborns and toddlers now... time flies by quickly. lol. My partner and I are trying to naturally conceive w/o the + pregnancy result (going on a few months now)... so, we'll begin IVF and/ or the adoption process in nearly 2 years... this is the plan. In the meantime, I sometimes feel a bit left-out when I watch fellow homemakers who have a child/ children... while I'm trying to be patient to develop our family. I watched 3 of your videos thus far. And I truly enjoy your content. Similarly, I have a (part-time) business to earn income to pay back my student loans. I'm always busy as a homemaker. I count my blessings everyday to be able to serve my family and to be my own boss pertaining to monetary gain. Thank you!

I have difficulty befriending most christian because I find out that they are social church attending Christians who don't read their Bible, but instead rely on the pastor's preaching. Yesterday, I spent a lovely day at home with the windows open, making iced tea and baking, etc. and I feel actually relaxed for the first time in over a year. People especially attack the best and most successful people because of their own problems. I admire everything about how you live, the natural lighting, the nourishing foods, the way you study the Bible, the way you love your animals, and how you freshen yourself up for your husband and honor him. The practice of actually writing in the journal following your prompts has made me feel overall more content and at peace in my life. It has become a lovely part of my evening routine. I lie down on the floor with my bunnies (They don't like being high up on surfaces such as a table, so I just hang out with them on the carpet), and I write in the journal by candlelight. There were several years when my husband was going to school and working to support me and our child at home. It was hard having him gone all the time. But he is such an amazing supporter and looking back I so appreciate what he did for our family.

When actually, those around us feel our love and care for them, despite us feeling stretched and like we are dropping the balls. Recently one of our guinea fowl hatched 6 chicks, I have not seen them clearly yet and I'm itching to. She is being such a good Mama and hiding them well in the overgrown bracken. Hello I am in the UK and although I am not a Christian , I really enjoy your content and the honesty.I Love how you treat animals and yes it is not nice when people say unkind and thoughtless comments....I am guessing these people are either unwell or jealous or enjoy the power of inflicting harm. Keep doing your vlogs , and my favourite time of the day is comfie time too!❤
My favorite time of the day is after supper is finished, dishes are washed & I can put on my pjs & lay back in my recliner & watch tv with my hubby. We are approaching our 46th anniversary in July.

I don't often comment simply because I usually think anything that I have to say could be or has been more eloquently said by someone else. You have a beautiful home and very beautiful style. You should never think that you are a failure.
I have the problem when I feel overwhelmed I sometimes shut down and can't do anything and I often feel overwhelmed. That is when I feel like a failure.
I have lost a lot of faith in people, especially those one the internet (another reason I don't often comment), because there is so much anonymity people feel like they can be vicious and cruel and no one can stop them. Never take what they say to heart. You have an amazing message to share and I feel privileged to be one of those that you share it with. Thank you.

I’ve always felt like someone who has to have control over almost every aspect of life. But, circumstances have caused me to drop to my knees many nights, crying to God to give me patience and the strength to let go of some things. In a way, it has been freeing to be able to accept the fact that I cannot do all things and be all things for everyone in my life. It gets easier. And, I’ve definitely got your back sister!!

I'm really pleased to have discovered a fellow childless homemaker. I follow many homemakers... who didn't have children when I first transitioned to the Grateful Homemaker Lifestyle. Fast-forward a few years, they all have newborns and toddlers now... time flies by quickly. lol. My partner and I are trying to naturally conceive w/o the + pregnancy result (going on a few months now)... so, we'll begin IVF and/ or the adoption process in nearly 2 years... this is the plan. In the meantime, I sometimes feel a bit left-out when I watch fellow homemakers who have a child/ children... while I'm trying to be patient to develop our family.
I watched 3 of your videos thus far. And I truly enjoy your content. Similarly, I have a (part-time) business to earn income to pay back my student loans. I'm always busy as a homemaker. I count my blessings everyday to be able to serve my family and to be my own boss pertaining to monetary gain.

I don't usually comment on videos. I have to comment in appreciation of your channel. I have difficulty befriending most christian because I find out that they are social church attending Christians who don't read their Bible, but instead rely on the pastor's preaching. I just want to thank you so much for your videos. They are so beautifully created and relax me so much. I just found you a few days ago, but you inspired me to take better care of myself, nourish myself and take care of my home. Yesterday, I spent a lovely day at home with the windows open, making iced tea and baking, etc. and I feel actually relaxed for the first time in over a year. Even my pets love your voice and are so much more relaxed too. I'm so sorry that you are dealing with online harassment, and I'm praying for you and your husband. People especially attack the best and most successful people because of their own problems. Thank you for your advice about starting an online business because I have been considering that and am afraid of doors it might open. I admire everything about how you live, the natural lighting, the nourishing foods, the way you study the Bible, the way you love your animals, and how you freshen yourself up for your husband and honor him. I have purchased your Intentional Living Journal and the gratitude exercises have helped me in such a practical way... The practice of actually writing in the journal following your prompts has made me feel overall more content and at peace in my life. It has become a lovely part of my evening routine. I lie down on the floor with my bunnies (They don't like being high up on surfaces such as a table, so I just hang out with them on the carpet), and I write in the journal by candlelight. (The spirally one you show in your videos, another inspiration from you btw). Just purchased the Meal Planner and Fitness Tracker and look forward to seeing it! There were several years when my husband was going to school and working to support me and our child at home. It was hard having him gone all the time. But he is such an amazing supporter and looking back I so appreciate what he did for our family.

This was perfect timing Lea! I have felt a lot of the same things. I took a digital detox and a sabbatical for 4 days this month. I spent that time pouring my heart out to the Lord. It's so helpful to be reminded that we all feel like failures occasionally and to remember that we are often our own harshest critics. When actually, those around us feel our love and care for them, despite us feeling stretched and like we are dropping the balls.
You remind me to see the beauty in all the wonderful things around us Lea, the big and the small. Recently one of our guinea fowl hatched 6 chicks, I have not seen them clearly yet and I'm itching to. She is being such a good Mama and hiding them well in the overgrown bracken. You have reminded me to pray even for them, the tiniest chicks, that they stay safe from predators. xx
