@@tbakeror Greetings Tara. I have a fossil that I'd like to learn more about. Can you help me or share another resource/person I can contact? Thank you. Megan Stenberg
Appreciate. Had not heard much on west coast fossils. Informative. 39:25 You ever watch mamlambo fossil u-tube? From New Zealand has found many. His work on the crabs he's found exquisite. One from a 50 pound concretion. Awesome!
Do you happen to know the rules on selling your finds? I can’t find any details about doing so. Thanks for the great presentation. I learned some things and really enjoyed it. ✌️
Hi, sorry this has taken me so long to get back to you. You are NOT allowed to sell any fnids that have been collected on public lands in Oregon. You can sell fossils found on private land with the landowners permission.
Just saw this. I am terrible at TH-cam. I hope you see it! You can find us at narg.org or North America Research Group on Facebook. Or, email me directly at tbakeror@yahoo.com.
if someone has found legitimate vertibrate fossils on BLM land, and their local office has ignore repeated phone calls and emails, what should be my next step? I am concerned what I found could be destroyed further by grazing cattle.
Oh, man. Sorry I didn't respond to this. If you haven't done anything yet, please send me an email at tbakeror@yahoo.com. Someone in my paleontology club has ties at U of O's Geology Paleontology Department. They are very good about getting back to my group about finds like this. I can pass your information along to them.
Great video introduction to Oregon's fossils - thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
