Gurdjieff#s Tibetan dance. Most probably only known as a piece of piano music. Here it is presented in a more rustic or ethnic version by Makmed the Miller.
Three string Pipa and whirler.

We need to be reminded of the beauty of pure melody and Not always the force of large orchestration.
I think Gurdjieff wrote the melodies on a little street harmonium. Later, his friend Thomas de Hartmann made them into pieces of 'European Music'
I love those simple innocent notes all in a line.
All in a line.... che vuol dire?
Wooo..mind blowing. 🎶🎵
Warm greetings from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Wonderful ;)
George Gurdjieff used to say, “My whole teaching can be condensed into one word, and that is disidentification.”
Don’t identify with the mind

Do you know 'wedding of the Mongolian racing tadpoles'.
Eccezionale, come sempre. Un buon momento di presenza. Grazie. 😉
Thanks for that.
🙏
Is there anyway to get the sheet music to this?
dººb!
What is that he is spinning an why? Thanks
It is an instrument from the old Soviet Union ethnic regions, one of the 'Stans'. It has no real relation to the music of Gurdjieff but it is used here just to give a more ethnic feel to what is meant to be an expression of Tibetan folk music. Thanks for your interest.
Bien por Ringo!
Where’s the dance?
You know if there was a clip that said A Polish Mazurka by Chopin, you wouldn't expect to see Chopin himself having a knees up. It would be a piece of music.
Thanks for watching.
(Maybe you could dance to it actually, if you want)
