Exactly. He didn't use one Bible verse in the final 20 minutes. He is supposed to preach the word of God, and go back to the scriptures throughout the sermon. He does not do that at all. It's all the Phil Kidd show. It is man-centered and the people who stand up and clap are deceived.

When you give a handful of Bible verses, then close the book and just rant about yourself the rest of the time, that's a foul.

if you stay in the scriptures, you don't need to dwell on politics. It's amazing how people stand up and clap Phil Kidd when absolutely zero scripture is being presented in the final 20 minutes. Maybe longer.
Those who are clapping are enamored by a man, and not desiring the word of God. You're part of the entertainment show. That's not what the pulpit is for. The pulpit is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ and teach His Word.
You've lost your mind and hearing. You didn't hear a word he said. Thank God for someone who had the guts to say the truth. It only offends those who are thin-skinned, and you, are thin skinned. he quoted more scripture, (if you know the Book), than perhaps you're acquainted with. Our country is in trouble, and you fight against a man who is exposing the problems. That's a real pulpit. Exposing sissy men, silly women, spoiled children, sick politicians and sorry preachers. Kidd isn't one of them!

A pastor should not be cussing from the pulpit ("I don't give a flip," Phil Kidd says often.)
It's supposed to be God's pulpit, not the pulpit of a self-willed man. (Look up Titus 1:7)
In recent visits to Detroit, Kidd used the pulpit to promote his businesses, which is unbiblical. And another time he walked through the aisles taking selfies, and by doing so, disrupted the preaching of John Hamblin. When my friend approached Phil Kidd and told him he was incorrect, Phil Kidd threatened him.
And there's more than that, but that's all I'm giving.

So, go back to the scriptures, and read God's words, and stop listening to man's words!
I wont say anything negative against you but I will pray for God to lead your heart! Everything Pastor Kidd says (including the political) directly relates back to the verse he read in the beginning of the service. He tells stories and gives examples of how to live our life which will directly relate to the verse he preaches. I love him because he is blunt and to the point. U give someone any wiggle room and they will blow everything outta proportion but with Pastor Kidd he leaves no room to mistake what he says. I guess that's why people either love him or hate him.
