Seeing how mead can completely change flavors when aging makes it interesting. I made an orange cranberry mead that when aged 6 months tasted like chocolate raspberry. We were completely baffled by it.
I had done a strawberry mead and i noticed a caramel-like flavor in the backend , even the glass smelled like caramel after drinking the mead. I think it's a character of the strawberry when mixed with honey.
That disclaimer! Great reminder. I feel bad for both of you guys. I've been on both sides of this issue and there's no way not to feel terrible in the moment.
I always check the ingredients when I make jam wine and mead because some of them are processed in factories that also process nuts. I also have marked my brews that have lactose as a sweetener, my daughter is lactose intolerant.
“There’s no poison or anything”. Lol
I was just about to comment this lol
Gosh, I realized while editing this just how sketchy it sounded!!
@@ManMadeMead well especially like how excited you were acting leading up to the M̶u̶r̶d̶e̶r̶ “mead”
"I'm terrified to know what this is" -- how ominous
The on screen chemistry between you both is becoming more fluid. Really adds to these episodes! Love em!
Thank you! They’re fun to make!

Asking people about allergies is actually a really good habit to make that I've never thought to do, so thank you. Yet another entertaining episode!
Thank you!!
Next time, have a third glass with 50/50.

It’s definitely something I need to be better about!
Seriously a great series! Glad to see your genuine reactions and confusing. Hope you both keep this going!

Great video! I never thought to inquire about allergies! Will have to keep that in mind! Keep up the great work and glad everyone’s ok!
Heard about this on one of BC's live streams. Glad everyone is okay.
Me too!
This was filmed before boots and doots... I know it!
My wife and I both have food allergies. Try to keep it in mind, but it's hard, even when you have them yourself!
LOL! DANG! MMM is trying to take you out! JK. BC is going to kill mine in the judging. Now I'm scared 😳
Ooh no.. the disclaimer 😅
