I wish these were designed differently, iv gone through too many rear calipers. Between seized guide pins to pistons themselves. Might need to regrease these each winter
@@TunerwithKids I have a 2010 is350 and I just checked. The fronts don’t have guide pins but the front is250 does. My rears have guide pins and they’re perfectly fine. I checked everything including the brakes and its all fine. Do you know what else could be the problem? Maybe the brake hose?!
Did my car few weeks ago. Never done it in 16 years, thanks god it not seize up to bad

I think they knew it was a bad design which is why they changed it on the 3IS and 4GS.
Your videos are amazing! I appreciate the hell outa you!
Hey man, thanks a lot for the video. What brand rotors are on the rear of your IS?
OEM.
I thought IS250 doesn't have vented disc for rears.
Wrong grease will ruin rubber boots real fast, use the correct grease guys
Maybe this is why my car keeps pulling to the right when I brake bcuz maybe the guide pins are seized?
Maybe check both and front calipers, to see if piston is moving too.

What exactly do you mean by “periodically?”… every 3 months, 6 months?…
At least annually or change oil. Check the boot and slide.
When i click on the link is showing me that not fit in is 250. Another stuff. Will the is350c rear caliper fit on is250 ?
The is250/350 use same pads. The boots should be same. Caliper is different due to the bigger vented rotors for 350.
@@TunerwithKids so calipers is350c will not fit in my is250
@TheManueltavarez need 350 rotors and bend the back plate.
