Decorating a Garfield Cookie - America's Favorite Comic Strip Cat
Decorating character cookies can be challenging. Here are some tips:
1. Start with a large cookie base. It's much easier to decorate a detailed cookie when it's larger
2. Use a thicker flood consistency royal icing to reduce cratering in small areas
3. Place the cookie in front of a small table fan or in a dehydrator often to help the icing crust over quickly before craters can happen
4. Paint on any details that are too small to pipe with royal icing.
5. Take your time and have fun with it!

Supplies:
* Flooded oval cookies
* Design from the Internet transferred using a projector and a non-stick pencil
* Royal icing in a 20 second consistency in orange, white, yellow, red, and gray
* Royal icing in a 25 second consistency in black
* A scribe or toothpicks, paintbrush
* Black edible marker
* Piping bags
* Optional size 1 piping tip
