Thanks for the detailed walk through! It's nice to know that winning doesn't' necessarily require buying all the "top shelf," most expensive parts. Your car looks great! I really want to get into this, too, but with what covid restrictions have done to my income, I don't have a grand to build a car with.
I use to think the same thing about transmitters… till I slow motion videoed my reaction to when the car moved. Used my Flysky gt5 to a Sanwa m44. It was a noticeable difference. Now, knowing your transmitter, you can combat that, but if you have to let off and get back on or steering correct, that’s where it’ll make a bigger difference.
Congrats on your win. Seems like if ya keep it light and tuned up nice, its gonna take off jus fine. Weights on front end is a good idea. Thanx for the video and KEEP ON BASHING, OR SPEEDING. FROM BARRIE ONTARIO CANADA PS, though I'd subscribe for more action!
As a full scale drag racer since the late 80s, I have 2 Buick Grand Nationals > Its not at all far fetched that you think warming the tires up on the carpet is better. Rocks. Gravel. Asphalt tar. If we could only warm our tires up on clean carpet.... Your on the right path Bro > F the naysayers.
Great content and vids bro. Just finishing my slash build. I put 70wt oil in the rear shocks and 32.5wt front. She's still sitting slammed down any suggestions? Almost seems like no oil, lol. Stock traxxas shocks, white springs front, red springs rear if that helps.

How do feel about spool? Clutch eliminator? It's hard to believe the Supra is that heavy but it is what it is.

Personal I run a lighter oil and a heavier spring and some run the opposite. It's all about trial and error.
What ever happen to the 2.2 beadlock wheels with aka tires???....I want to order a set of these and have 2 sets of rear wheels for my 13.5 car....
Real nice video man
Thanks I appreciate it
Link for the ESC wire and program on the 13.5 car?
Where u get that body from? I notist is diffrent from the proline one
Hit up Drive RC on FB. You'll have to order from them directly. Idk if they have a website yet
What motor fan mount are you using and how do you like it? Will it fit on the new drag slash?
I ordered the fan mount fro eBay for the DR10. This one specifically won't fit the drag slash but I'm sure you can get one from the traxxas chassis.
What powerstrokes did you use in the back? The front or rears.
Fronts with rear main springs. I'll do an update video soon.
And congrats
Thanks I appreciate it!
Like to build one using traxxis banit but want to go by the rule to race
