Extra Tip: You can use the M4L deivce Expression Control to map for example modulation whell mappings. Than it will stored as well

can I use Expression Control to map simple individual rack knobs and save them as well?

@@mattyb8929Yes you can do this within a rack. But if you want to use the pitch bend for something like a filter on a synth, you should add something like Ben Somas midi filter M4L or similar after the expression control, because otherwise you would pitch bend the synth and control the filter at the same time.
Its pretty cool because this way you can basically add more macros. I use the pitch bend for temporary "touch effects" moving up for one FX and down for another, and since pitch bends snaps back automatically its good for temporarily FX similar to machines touch strips for performance FX.

Hi, I used this tool to map parameters to the knobs of my Akai MPK3, but even after uninstalling 'forward midi' the saved parameters no longer return to defaults, what can I do? Help

Its weird - the Global Midi Map recognizes everything but it only maps my cutoff control - the rest will just show their midi cc value but arent mapped
