Thank you for the share. Its so crazy that the Ableton dont have such ability.
Thank you so much, been surching this trick for many month.
much love from france, enjoy music and life 💙
Extra Tip: You can use the M4L deivce Expression Control to map for example modulation whell mappings. Than it will stored as well
can I use Expression Control to map simple individual rack knobs and save them as well?
@@mattyb8929Yes you can do this within a rack. But if you want to use the pitch bend for something like a filter on a synth, you should add something like Ben Somas midi filter M4L or similar after the expression control, because otherwise you would pitch bend the synth and control the filter at the same time.
Its pretty cool because this way you can basically add more macros. I use the pitch bend for temporary "touch effects" moving up for one FX and down for another, and since pitch bends snaps back automatically its good for temporarily FX similar to machines touch strips for performance FX.
Awesome - thx for the support!
Thank you for the awesome product 🔥🔥
thank you both man!
Great! Thanks 🌻
Thaaaank you so much !!
Amazing!
Hi, I used this tool to map parameters to the knobs of my Akai MPK3, but even after uninstalling 'forward midi' the saved parameters no longer return to defaults, what can I do? Help
I saved the instrument rack after i had mapped my midi macros and ableton is remebrimg them now without the m4l device
Are you sure ? It doesn’t do it for me for some reasons…
Thank you for this information, I have question is this Max for live device effecting your CPU and if it does, how much ?
If that is not problem for you could you please write your computer specs
Thank you
oh wow, looking long time for this, nice..BUT haha will it also work with a synth for which there is no script in Ableton? Iam talking about the minilogue xd, would be nice if there is a solution to. cheers
Its weird - the Global Midi Map recognizes everything but it only maps my cutoff control - the rest will just show their midi cc value but arent mapped
yeah i'm having this same issue it sucks
