And those Pakistanis whose ancestors might have been Hindu centuries ago, converted because it was a better idea than living in the ignorance of animal worship. They converted from Sufi Saints. Islamic history in the subcontinent is 1400 years old with migrations of other central Asian peoples from Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey and elsewhere that settled in what is today Pakistan. We are a separate nation and proud of that. You need to deal with your insecurities and knowing you were subjects for a 1000 years.

As a Hindu, I don't feel any need to say this, but Pakistanis also need to make serials on their OWN history.
Even, Regional serials are made and ardently watched by Indians of that particular states and translated to several other Indian languages, let alone our Hindi channels which have them in plenty. If they love Islamic history, they should go for some Arabic serials or our Indian serials on Mughals, Mamluks and Tughlaqs. Your country can also make some serials on famous Islamic preachers and Sufis like Chistiji and Haji Ali. Well, I don't know any influential person from Pakistani history to be honest, but again, efforts should come from within.
And, the Turkish one was a lit bit off the history, fam-friendly classic but too long, bores you off. Our serials are the same, just shorter episodes but crossing 2000 normally.
These things make me feel that, Pakistani is just the Muslim version of Phillipines, without its own roots.
