If this guy is so intelligent, with all these degrees, he sure appears to lack all common sense. He got apprehended 6 weeks in, rumors of DNA not to mention driving across country in a vehicle that is wildly hunted. Intelligent? Only if he planned on getting caught. Big difference in book sense and common sense.

I'm wondering if this suspect could be "on the spectrum" --perhaps on the lower end. Seemingly very bright and obsessed with criminal matters but lacking common sense and logic. I have a 28 year old neighbor like that. She is a whiz at all things financial but clueless about everyday things she should know by that age. And she is definitely lacking in empathy but unaware of this deficiency.
Not an expert on these things, just my observations over 3 years of knowing her.
And no, I don't think autism makes killers of people.

Or maybe he didn't do it. Sleeping usually means he's not worries. Stressed or even concerned. He's expecting to be exonerated for a reason. He may be arrogant and maybe it's part of his plan but if I was arrested for murders I know I didn't commit. I'd sleep good and expect to be exonerated too. Or maybe it's a family affair. A father and son murder. Or maybe it was just the father.

I think what everyone has missed here when it comes to DNA is.. if the DNA was found in critical areas such as under the victim nails for example.. going to a party @ this house does not answer or explain that DNA evidence. No law enforcement professional would arrest and charge an individual without having the goods on this very publicized case..the chief knows he has the winning hand ace's high! 7 weeks the police FBI, and state sheriff did a phenomenal job.i look forward to due process and I hope they prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law.

However.... Now that they have gotten everything out of his apartment including the computer; plus also having the white car now, there will likely much more to confirm he is the killer!

What happened to innocent until proven guilty? Every media outlet has already found him guilty. I guess there isn’t enough other news to keep their viewers captivated!

*Mr. Breeze, Totally agree with you! The presumption of innocence has been brutally hurt by most of the media and news w/o even waiting for this suspect's day in court! That makes us think, if this is the real killer or a mere scapegoat? If that's the so called "news" attitude towards rights, would they even respect anyone's else rights?*

People like you really are blind and want to give benefit of doubt even to criminals and that's why they are so many emerging criminals because you don't sympathize with victim but the criminal. You must not the that dumb to be deaf to all the things you heard about him.

i just hope Mr Kohberger does not do something else stupid and start opening up and blabbering to police thinking the cops are his friends, because they are NOT, they simply want to talk to him and pretend to be his buddy as a way to get him to open up and blabber and incriminate himself because anything he tells the cops will be used against him in court, so he was already dumb enough to use his own car as a getaway vehicle (if he indeed is the guy) lets hope he keeps his trap shut to the cops who will be pretending to be his friend as a way to get him to incriminate himself.
