    After having a life-changing health experience, Nathan Gershfeld, D.C. changed careers from electrical engineer to chiropractor. Following an internship under Dr. Alan Goldhamer, he joined the staff doctors at the world-renowned True North Health Center from 2011-2014. After 2014, Dr. Gershfeld moved his practice to Orange County and later founded Fasting Escape, a health center offering supervised therapeutic fasting.     Can someone shed some light on the subject of permanently elevated insulin levels? Dr. Jason Fung addresses the issue - and I know he is the opposite of McDougal on nutrition, but my understanding is that overweight people should avoid carbohydrates so that the permanently elevated insulin levels that prevent the breakdown of body fat will decrease. And only then may McDougal's approach of a "potato diet" be the right thing to do ... In this context, I would like to hear McDougals people address the "permanently elevated insulin levels prevent fat loss" issue.

    How much for 5 day's in home juice fasting detoxing what juice recipe is adviced. Sounds like what I'm looking for. I have high blood pressure medicine I want to stop taking the meds only on one medicine now Thanks for sharing
