Hi Ed Danks, I just came across your music here accidentally. I think your music is beautiful and deserves more attention, your descriptions too are beautiful. I'm curious why you are so unknown
thanks so much for the kind words. most of the songs were written back in the 1970s and 1980s when there was no social media; it was extremely difficult to get your songs heard and accepted by record labels and artists back then. I submitted them to literally hundreds of publishers and record companies but never received any replies. I played in clubs, restaurants and bars and sang them there. Just recently digitized them and uploaded to youtube for my sons to hear. My hope of being successful in the music industry has long ago evaporated; Im content with the simple joy of music. I know I dont have a good voice and really dont consider myself to be a singer . . . although I do consider myself a "guitarist" as well as a "songwriter". I listened to your piano work and covers - excellent! you should post more! Thanks again for the comment / Ed
