I hope that by “brought back to life” you only mean “brought back to the mainstream”, because there have always been great, new, young bands playing and creating brand new music in the style of classic rock and not getting their due, not being recognized for it.
I have a list of more than 1,400 bands that formed within the last thirty years, most of them within the last twenty years, that have created and recorded and released rock music like this (minus the rapping). We’re very fortunate that modern technology allows artists to record and release their own music online without any support from record companies.
This band are such impressive performers. They burst onto the world stage at Eurovision representing Italy and you should check out their Grand Final performance of Zitti e Buoni which they won with. They were on one of the biggest stages you can be on and they're aged 20-22 and they were incredible.

This cover of the old Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons record from the mid 60s is so refreshing when compared to the generic auto tuned mush that's everywhere today.
