1️⃣ Read this if you FAILED THE NCLEX:
There is no right way to process how you are feeling. I know you may be feeling ashamed, depressed, angry, or just alone. I truly do get messages all the time from people spending thousands of dollars or people who study for MONTHS to find out they failed. You are not alone. People just do not talk about it as much! If this is you, it is okay. I am proud that you clicked this video because it tells me that you want to keep trying! You have already surpassed so many others by not only being accepted into Nursing School but graduating! You should be proud of the moves you have made! The NCLEX can be difficult, but you now have an advantage! You know what it looks like and how to study the next time around! I KNOW YOU ARE SMART ENOUGH TO PASS! Just keep practicing NCLEX-style questions as if you were the SAFE nurse in that situation! YOU CAN DO THIS! The fact that you are not giving up, just proves how amazing of a nurse you will be one day!
2️⃣ Read this if you failed a Nursing Exam:
It always hurt when you fail a Nursing Exam. I remember completing failing my first big Nursing Exam in Fundamentals and feeling like I should reconsider career paths. But guess what? WE ALL FAIL AT SOME POINT! There is not one person I know that has not failed at a skills checkoff, exam, midterm paper, or presentation in their Nursing program. It happens! Sometimes we need to cry it out, take an hour or even the full day off, and restart fresh! I used to reorganize my room and that is how I would push the "reset button" on life. My biggest tip is to try to find the answer for the question you got wrong, because some questions on pop quizzes or Mini Exams can end up on the Final!

I know the NCLEX seems daunting! But let me remind you of a few things that helped calm me:
🍃 You can retake this exam up to 8x/year
🍃 This is a fair exam that is peer-reviewed so you won't see trick questions

@@amukaur5436 UWorld and this review were all that I needed to pass!! A few other people I went to school with who graduated before me did the same thing and they also passed. Do what works for you but UWorld and this video were what I did. Good luck!!

every nursing help video on yt seems to be full of spam comments... its really awful. they prey upon students/people preparing for the exam with bs shortcuts. there's no way around studying and understanding the information. any comment mentioning Mr. or Mrs. "so and so"' god bless, etc. with a number for whatsapp is spam and should be reported

LPN program is no joke. My teachers that got their LPN/BSN/MSN said that LPN was the hardest out of all of them to get through and obviously you guys made all made it, so don't doubt yourselves. I used ATI/Nexus Nursing along with the knowledge I already knew. I passed my NCLEX in 75 questions my first try. My best advice is do what works for you (what makes sense for you when studying) and not what everyone else is doing or is trending..

I good way to think about the "assess unless in distress" issue is to look at statements like "Patient is in respiratory distress" and realize that respiratory distress is your assessment. That is all you need to know to know you should act.

@Mark Just say "I haven't passed yet." Don't take it as a failure but see it as a learning opportunity. There is a lot of power in "Yet"; you are telling yourself that you will get there and that your eyes and heart are still fixed on your goal.

This was a great video, I just completed LPN school at the beginning of Oct 2022, I scheduled my Nclex exam for December 2022(2nd week)....I am sooo nervous that its too long after graduation, however after watching this video, I realize the information IS still in MY brain. I now have chosen to incorporate these videos from beautiful nursing along with practice questions. Tips are helpful Jaylin, but with the help of Mrs Ariel you'll pass your exam without any stress, I strongly recommend her

I couldn’t catch what the pimp stood for I know what each letter stood for but what precautions? I know standard you would use but would these also be droplet?
Can one actually choose not to answer the single answer questions if one doesn't know the answer or is absolutely unsure of the correct answer? I thought that applies to the SATA questions.
You have to answer all questions
Therapeutic questions are “easy” for me but I feel like they don’t make sense. Like the example, the patient already told you that they’re scared yet the answer is “tell me how you feel?”. They already told you that they’re scared. Wouldn’t they perceive you as not listening to them when you’re asking them basically to repeat themselves?
You always want to keep the conversation open to get more information from the patient. “Tell me how you feel” or even “tell me why you feel scared” are considered open ended according to my professor. I struggled with that in the beginning too, but just always pick one that sounds like that.
@@amandamartin8280 it’s just frustrating bc in nursing school they’d tell us it’s wrong to ask them if they already told you. Out of the options, that’s the obvious right one, but I overthink them now.
The NCLEX NextGen is coming up soon🥺💔,I couldn’t even pass my previous test for the third time now. How will I be able to get through the new pattern that’s coming up soon. I just pray all this will pass by some day and I become a license nurse🤦♂️💔🙏🙏
