This is so 90s. Oasis were so massive, their cover band made it on to TOTP and Gary Glitter was yet to be charged, also happily living off royalties from Oasis.
This is the most successful emulation in the history of emulations. And choosing "I'd like to teach the world to sing" after the Oasis being accused of ripping that tune for one of their songs made everybody love No Way Sis, including Noel Gallagher.
When you hear how much money they made, you won't be laughing. They were touring Europe almost constantly from 1994-1998, and were also financially supported by Sony/Creation records, because it was felt that they could play towns/cities the actual Oasis wouldn't go near. Seriously, I think they made millions from it.
@@mondocamp not sure if the above is a slight exaggeration but this is directly from their Wikipedia page; 'Between 1995-1998 No Way Sis were in such demand that they found themselves touring the length and breadth of the UK continuously, almost without a break. If you're under the age of 20, it must be hard to imagine there was a weekly primetime show dedicated to the singles chart, and even harder to comprehend would be the fact a tribute band was on it. But that's how big Oasis were, if you lived through it (I was 16/17 in 1996) you'll never see the like again, our 60's. and our Beatles right there.
25 so I only really remember 2000s top of the pops. Where they the only tribute act to appear on it? Off the top of my head I can only imagine the only ones would would be Bjorn Again and Bootleg Beatles? I’m sure they both charted at some point
If your under the age of 20 your job is not to listen to us old ones talking shit about what you're not going to see, go out and create your own era, the kids of the 60s said it would never happen again, yet 30 years later we did it all again. The tail end of the 2020s is where the spirit will rise again.

It’s weird because in the 90s, everyone thought he sounded nothing like Liam. But he does sound quite a lot like 2020 Liam Gallagher. Liam’s vocal decline over the last 20 years, means they’re now quite a close match
This is pretty good. I love how well "Liam" emulates the real Liam. He has the same stage presence and does all the same little things during the song, like how he sits down during "Noel's" solo.
GARY GLITTER-Big lover of noel-noel obviously loved GG too. used his song Hello to open up the Morning Glory album and put half a million quid in Garys pocket every year for the next half a dozen years..

Living your life acting like someone else. It's just sad. Liam was entertaining. But why do you need to see an impression of him or the band when you can just watch the real people?
Sad, but very lucrative for them. They made a lot of money and got lots of girls. I wonder what happened to them after they called it quits though. Some really good bands start out as cover bands.

He's got a nice voice. Sounds natural, and definitely like Liam.
He’s Scottish
I actually bought this single back in the day, that's how big of an Oasis fan I was/am.
