I use Magma softcases for my audio gear. NI Maschine MK3 case fits a 7", Ableton Push case fits two 5", Wolfmix case fits two Hota D6Pros or a QC200. Magma generally makes backpacks like the Solid Blaze 120/180 which are great for music *and* FPV travel. Lifesavers during festival season when I do both these things.

Jkjk hahaha I've never played before but I do have a background in ping pong 😅 My older brother growing up was a tennis instructor and we used to have the most epic ping pong matches.. kinda similar just on a bigger scale, probably, looks like some great fun 🫡

Love the setup for that speedy bee power adapter for the goggles 2 wjat cord do you get with it it is showing 2 different cords you can order with it and I don't know which ones are for the goggles 2 and how much longer does the lipos last compared to the batteries that come with the goggles 2 I'm ocd I keep my bag organized like that too great setup

For the tools-pouch, dont you get stopped for the screw drivers at security? Could easely be used as weapon

You are allowed to carry tools less than 7 inches in hand luggage.. Any sharps or bigger tools must be checked in..

Great video!!! But I have a some questions: the TSA does not give to you a hard time about your tools, props and drones hanging outside the backpack? To stay with you inside the aircraft?

I fly with everything inside a pack and never get questioned, but I would love to know if others can travel with open frames without hassle. I have also been conditioned to assume a LIPO bag is a must.

I usually like bringing backups but on trips like this where I’ll be surrounded by other pilots flying similar gear I’m not worried

How is your experience with taking the drone into the carry on bag? I once had to put it into check in bag and that was a mavic 2s, but it was in dubai. Since then i am really scared to take it on board, because of that i designed a modification for my 5” quad so it looks like a remote car😂. I wonder if it is unecessary😅.
An FPV backpack that is White inside is a risky as wearing White underwear...Stained by the end of the day for sure 😂😂😂

So for flying, it’s all good to put any gear in the check in luggage so long as any batteries are in carry on? & all lipos stored at 3.8? Is there a limit on number or size of lipos/Lilon?

In video desc. Battery Charger link is showing ISDT D2 Mark II. Do you still use it or you switched to Hota S6? And what are your thoughts on ISDT D2 Mark II? Have one myself, and recently CH2 started to not finish balance cycle on end of the charge. Thnx for this video btw.
you dont have a portable soldering iron? i love my iron that i can power from a lipo, its saved the day a couple of times for sure... i guess not so nessesary when you take a ton of quads lol, but still how you supposed to swap esc or something from your little pouch?

Do you bring spare controller and goggles and antennae in your suitcase that dont fit in the bag? Would suck to have all that gear and drop goggles or controller and cant fly.
How do you charge all those lipos with that two port charger? My guess is parallel charging. Could you share how to do parallel charging safely? And also how do you charge lipos in the field? Thanks

if you take it to carry on, you will get it taken away in security check and get penalized by the police!
Hey so I live in a smaller town and just started flying but we have an airport so the whole town is a class d airspace… do I have to notify them every time I wanna fly? Below 400ft of course…. Just wondering how you would go about it

but they don't make a fuss about the batteries at the airport??? do you put them in the hold?? is there a maximum??
how do you travel with so many batteries? i just took a flight and i was only allowed two batteries totaling a maximum of 160w (one drone battery and one for my goggles). Batteries were not allowed in checked bags only carry on.
Man thats only a 6 hour drive for me from Washington. Id love to come fly with you guys! But i just got laid off... and am currently house sitting for my mom while shes on vacation.

This is great info! Have you ever ran into an issue with the quantity of batteries on a plane? I know there’s a max size allowed but seeing 15 batteries in one bag would have me worried at TSA
As long as they are under 100 watt hours you can take as many as you want. I’ve traveled with 20x 4500 6s lipos and I get looks but never have any issues

I have a question. I didn't see any cleaning cloths? how come. As a recent glasses wearer I realised how fast and easy lenses get dirty, considering you have a lot of cameras I thought you would have a huge stash. I clean my glasses all the time and I also clean inside my goggle lenses and camera lenses often.
I always wonder about the drones hanging on the outside. Isn't the bag too thick with them to meet regulations or fit in the overhead lockers in the plane? You can take those tools on the plane!?
Great questions! On most airplanes even with quads on the outside they fit, only on small crj700’s I take my quads off the bag and put them under the seat in front of me. As far as tools these all meet the tsa requirements in terms of size etc

That's a lot of prop sets. I know props were fragile back in the day, do you still damage props that often?
I just like changing props often cause I fly with no stabilization and bent props make my footage look terrible, I’m very thankful to have a prop sponsorship however otherwise I’d bend it and sent it always 😂
@@captainvanover I'm currently traveling around for work and finding it difficult to travel with my tools, two small drones and a few batteries. I just built a 5" over the weekend while in a hotel. I kind of wish I would have brought one of my Hex freestyle drones.
I am having some problems with arming my quad, could you help me? I just got my first fpv quad and it is a Iflight Titan xl5 with a Jumper T16 controller. I have been just flying it back and forth in my backyard and then the next day I take it back outside to fly it and it wont arm. I don't know what to do and I don't know anyone who knows how to fpv so I'm kinda stuck lol.

Lipos are no problem , BUT THE TOOLS !!!! NEVER EVER !!!!
It all depends on what size tools you bring :) can always check them
@@captainvanover Ok , i can only say , what my experience are. Here in europe i had to let my tools at the securaty check. The 2 mill hextriver was declared like a weapon. Also Props can be a problem. They also can be used like a weapon. Good luck for your journey and have a lot of fun . Greetings from Germany .
