I love the Bangles, and The Warning are not The Bangles, but I'd sure love to hear them "The Warnify" Eternal Flame, Manic Monday, Hazy Shade of Winter or Walk Like an Egyptian. Their voices alone would give these songs such a different feel.
I've love them all. Sick, HYCD, Que Mas Quieres, and More grew on me real quick. The difference in style and the superbright colorful and playful video threw me off. But as a devoted cult member of The Warning, I could not resist. I for one will continue to drink the Kool Aid Kids as they continue to Evolve from A to Z or at least until I'm 23 or run out of Money and even then, I'll remain a devoted Disciple as I continue Free Falling down the rabbit hole without any Animosity in my heart as I Choke back the tears while listening to every Breathe of their brilliant music.
The Warning is at another level. Every song they release is better than the last one and the last one was great. They don't need to look raggedy, covered in tattoos, obnoxious, nasty or underdressed. They just wear normal clothes, beautiful makeup and play lights out music. What can be said about Dany's vocals and guitar playing or Pau's singing and relentless drums or Ale's quite demeanor while adding beautiful backup vocals and thunderous bass that hasn't been said? Without a doubt, they are the most beautiful and talented band out there.
I for one love their studio recordings. I can't go to show every day or every week or follow them around the world, but I can stream their albums just about anywhere I go.
this Pepsi Center performance was the 3rd of the three 10th Anniversary concerts... they played the same performance in Guadalajara (Oct 21, 2023), Monterrey (Oct 25, 2023), and Mexico City (Oct 28, 2023)... all three performances had the same set list (with a notable difference or two), same costumes, same stage design and light show (or as close as possible for the venue)... they premiered both, *S!ck* and *Hell You Call A Dream* , in Guadalajara and included them in the following two performances, too... i believe they sold out all three locations... i know they sold out this one in Mexico City (CDMX) at the Pepsi Center with 8000+ in the audience 😜😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

I have a place for each of the 3 songs. More was an extremely interesting venture into a new sound/genre. I wasn’t a huge fan of S!CK from fan cams of the live performances but I think their studio version was actually way better, and a great song. When HYCAD came out on the album release, I was seriously questioning my previous attachment to it from fan cams. Then……. they released this! It was better than I remembered! And to think - it is only the first release from this concert. This is where they brought in a string section to back up Enter Sandman and Dull Knives. And….. where Pau sang Breathe - a song she said she would never do live. But she did - bring your Kleenex…….

I think your “diverse” take on how their new album will be is probably right on. If you saw their live Amazon Music concert on Sunday, their songlist was a great snippet of what’s to come when their EU tour splashes in April. It should show off their full diversity not being stuck in just one genre which they actually never were. Many of their songs blending genres within one or having a dominate theme be it metal, hard rock, punk, pop rock, or “balladeering” but I think KMF is going to boost them even more of an attention-getting level than ERROR which in my opinion has superior songwriting elements throughout. They potentially so far have put out some radio candy to get notice and I think HYCAD will bring back in the portion of TWA that seems disappointed with that “electronic sound”, as you put it, though as predicted they’ve grittied-up ‘MORE’ by performing it live so much now that I think it has already turned around some of the initial metalheads within. P.S. June 28th is the LP release date late time I heard though I would prefer sooner. ⚠️⚡️⚡️⚡️
