Objectively, Vanilla was awful. Insane Lag, crashing servers, 2 useless specs per class, (literally) 1 button per class to press, not enough quests, forced mob grinding, and 3-5 loot drops per boss in a 40 man raid environment that you hoped your faction could use. Wrath-MoP was when the game had reached its prime, and dont call wrath "Casual" When you didnt kill every boss on it's hard mode. Don't play private servers. There is no point unless you have nostalgia for the original product.

Alas it's a LAN server I run from time to time.. but uhh just look up torrents of WoW 2.x.x servers, it's not illegal to torrent WoW because you can get the clients for free anyway. It just gets a lil illegal when you go private servering. I do not think there are any TBC public servers yet open though, at least no blizzlike ones. And because IRL is important to me I do not have the time to dedicate to running one. Good luck, peace.
