Funny Fact: When Yagami leans back when drinking, he's actually flexing. That lean back is an actual Drunken Technique that someone spends years on to maximize their bending back technique.
The way they phrase it is weird but it’s true. Its a back flexing technique usually used in old school karate. But it’s more popularly associated with drunken fist karate because of the original drunken fist movie.
It should also be noted that people who practice Drunken Fist Karate aren't *actually* drunk when doing it. The style itself was made to be unpredictable, and hard to counter. The name itself is really just a moniker, but since almost every portrayal of it shows the practitioner actually drinking, people tend to assume that it's a requirement... It isn't. Trust me.

This isn’t Ip man’s technique, it’s a “shem choy” (or chain punches or “Li Wan Kune”) a basic technique in the Wing Chun Kung fu style. The style was first invented around 1700 by a female monk and her student to defend themselves. (It’s an amazing style because you don’t need much strength to use it and is phenomenal in close combat)

At first I was a little disappointed with the lack of EX actions the Boxing style got, but after playing with it for a few minutes I get it. It hits hard and fast with plenty of room for dodges, counters, and even juggling if you're good enough. It's like instead of Komaki style we got Sugar Ray style or something.
I Like how the disarm ex moves don't disarm boss enemies instead they Just damage them. But It kinda makes sense: a novice gun user wouldn't know how to avoid a disarm move (19:27) but someone more experienced with a gun can avoid It easily (19:37)

I have first played this game, and it's surely a great game that I have played, this game surely has great OSTs, Some Heat Actions, and also, the game I have played on the club sega on this game is fighting vipers, a classic sega fighting game, it's an nice game. anyway, great heat action compilation.

IMO, in terms of combat system, yes he can. Especially in this game, Yagami is so powerful. Crane counter with juggle. Parry with snake. Crushing the Dragon counter. And boxer style is powerful. And don't forget, extract. But in terms of story, canonical etc. That's another story. For me, i just enjoying both of them. They're strong in their own.
Kiryu has the brute strength to hit like a truck in a single hit, but Yagami knows how to parry and redirect attacks along with his speed. It's gonna be a fight of attrition on who's gonna get tired first
Judgement combat somewhat feels weaker than Yakuza Yagami is strong indeed Bit maybe because his background and civilian detective and lawyer, yagami not as brutal as those MC in Yakuza series Also reminder that story wise, Kaito is stronger than yagami So if one-day yagami meet dragon of dojima, just pray that he is client
The thing that I like most about Yagami, from a gameplay perspective, is that he's a lightweight which justifies his use of kung fu (often practiced by smaller fighters). Most RGG protagonists tend to be beefcakes who power through pain and favoring punches with big swings It honestly makes me optimistic for an RGG game with a female protagonist since the studio has already displayed that even lightweights can hit like a truck

At first I was a little disappointed with the lack of EX actions the Boxing style got, but after playing with it for a few minutes I get it. It hits hard and fast with plenty of room for dodges, counters, and even juggling if you're good enough. It's like instead of Komaki style we got Sugar Ray style or something.

IMO, in terms of combat system, yes he can. Especially in this game, Yagami is so powerful. Crane counter with juggle. Parry with snake. Crushing the Dragon counter. And boxer style is powerful. And don't forget, extract.
But in terms of story, canonical etc. That's another story.
For me, i just enjoying both of them. They're strong in their own.

No, it's not from DLC. IIRC both are default skill.
You have to buy the swing one and the traffic ones are very situational.
The thing that I like most about Yagami, from a gameplay perspective, is that he's a lightweight which justifies his use of kung fu (often practiced by smaller fighters). Most RGG protagonists tend to be beefcakes who power through pain and favoring punches with big swings
It honestly makes me optimistic for an RGG game with a female protagonist since the studio has already displayed that even lightweights can hit like a truck
