Funny Fact: When Yagami leans back when drinking, he's actually flexing. That lean back is an actual Drunken Technique that someone spends years on to maximize their bending back technique.

The way they phrase it is weird but it’s true. Its a back flexing technique usually used in old school karate. But it’s more popularly associated with drunken fist karate because of the original drunken fist movie.

It should also be noted that people who practice Drunken Fist Karate aren't *actually* drunk when doing it. The style itself was made to be unpredictable, and hard to counter. The name itself is really just a moniker, but since almost every portrayal of it shows the practitioner actually drinking, people tend to assume that it's a requirement...

The first guy is fine, he fell on his side and the kick took out most of the falling energy
Funny thing is the snake style is aikido, a martial art meant to be use to defend yourself without harming your opponent.

This isn’t Ip man’s technique, it’s a “shem choy” (or chain punches or “Li Wan Kune”) a basic technique in the Wing Chun Kung fu style. The style was first invented around 1700 by a female monk and her student to defend themselves. (It’s an amazing style because you don’t need much strength to use it and is phenomenal in close combat)
Wing chun is a amazing martial art, it deserves more respect.

As much as I love playing as Kiryu and Majima in other games, Yagami so much more fun.
I Like how the disarm ex moves don't disarm boss enemies instead they Just damage them.
But It kinda makes sense: a novice gun user wouldn't know how to avoid a disarm move (19:27) but someone more experienced with a gun can avoid It easily (19:37)

At first I was a little disappointed with the lack of EX actions the Boxing style got, but after playing with it for a few minutes I get it. It hits hard and fast with plenty of room for dodges, counters, and even juggling if you're good enough. It's like instead of Komaki style we got Sugar Ray style or something.

Boxing is meant to be simple but effective, maybe that’s why It doesn’t have many ex action

Can the EX Cooperative Jump Kick (17:18) only be performed with Kaito or can any of your other companions take his place?
Maybe I'm not trying enough. But it seems it only can be done with Kaito.

EX Power Surge, Jump Kick, Powerbomb, Sucker Kick only with Kaito.
EX Cooperative Sucker Punch,
Knee Bash only with Sugiura or Higashi. (Kuwana and maybe Oshikiri).
Edit: Cooperative knee kick also with all companion.

No, it's not from DLC. IIRC both are default skill.
You have to buy the swing one and the traffic ones are very situational.
Every other weapon in the game: Shatters after one ex action

Gotta wonder if Yagami might be able to match Kiryu
IMO, in terms of combat system, yes he can. Especially in this game, Yagami is so powerful. Crane counter with juggle. Parry with snake. Crushing the Dragon counter. And boxer style is powerful. And don't forget, extract.
But in terms of story, canonical etc. That's another story.
For me, i just enjoying both of them. They're strong in their own.

I found 3 places to find plunger in Ijincho. 1st in Hamakita Park, in front of the public bathroom. 2nd in the homeless park bathroom, in front of Onodera. 3rd in front of public bathroom near taxi Isezaki road (taxi near Yoshinoya). The bathroom near Koreatown.
For salt i found in near homeless park too, alongside the river, in the sidewalk where the homeless sleep. You could find chopstick too.

I'm so sorry, Yagami, but I can't stop watching you get clonked in the head by a baseball-
The thing that I like most about Yagami, from a gameplay perspective, is that he's a lightweight which justifies his use of kung fu (often practiced by smaller fighters). Most RGG protagonists tend to be beefcakes who power through pain and favoring punches with big swings
It honestly makes me optimistic for an RGG game with a female protagonist since the studio has already displayed that even lightweights can hit like a truck
