    Fascinating Sir.. really interesting to see the variation. Not at master level consistently yet but have many friends who are. I will be recommending they watch this👍

    U know what else I notice about wind. Especial on par 3s if you look at the win angle aa being a clock, you find your exact club distance from you landing spot and the ln depending on the the wind angle you take away or add 0-30% say your landing is at exact mid distance and the wind is pointing at 12 on a clock it would be mid -30% if wind was pointing at 6oclock then it would be +30% and if wind is pointing at the 3 or the 6 it is +/-0% then the 130 and 1030 is -15% and the 430 and 730 angles are +15% and you can get a more exact + or - based on the percentage like a wind angle pointing at the 5oclock would be +22.5%. I got 2 told my last 2 tournaments since I figured this out

    Great insight. I’m a full believer of following the method or technique that the person used to get a drop, if I’m trying to use their set up. So if they pulled from white circle in, pulled over the bullseye, pulled from blue ring to blue ring, used baby curl (even unintentionally) pushed their adjustment etc, you need to do exactly what they did for similar results imo. So if I used your guides, I’d use the take shot button or do what your friend did and have offset grid lines to line up with yours. Great video

    all that happens is what your pictures shows will look different depending on where your "center" line is. Nothing changes if you put that line at 10% 20% 40% 60% or 80%. It just means what your picture of what tail is will look different. Changes nothing about the shot. I have learned to identify angles from your guide based on my centerline. Usually just by looking at the other guides and seeing what 3 angles there are. I know if you took the pic it is from the take shot button. So I know it isn't what I am looking for. I realized that day 1. The vast majority of people use a center line even if it is just from notebook. If I pull through the center it makes no difference whatsoever where my center line is. Where it ending up in this video is 100% because you are not lineup up with the wind when you use "central" or "take shot". Of course as you move right to make a pull without rotating the screen for the wind it will be higher up. Do the same experiment but make it the actual pull. In other words have the wind at 12. You will end up in the same plus yard.

    Breaking news! It doesn't matter what you use to pull (a grid, the flat portion of the take shot button or the the little white ball on the take shot button). The point is your starting point + Bulls Eye need to be in one line for the pull. Otherwise if you don't have them in one line, you are pulling with a smaller diameter of the circle ... if that makes sense.

      Totally incorrect, I’ve been studying this for a while and I can tell you unequivocally that the position on the screen (which is dictated by your take shot ball, your grid or your flat portion of the take shot button) has an effect on not only the wind angle view but also the end point of your pull. Watch the video and you’ll clearly see

      My eyes are old and tired. That must be it. But I tried 3 different starting points (a horizontal grid line, the white ball of the take shot button, and the flat portion of the take shot button)... and they ended up to the same +yardage when I pulled 10 rings. But I only play Rookie so there are not a lot of wind adjustment there. Cheers.

    Great information and makes total sense why I've just about stopped using your shots, every adjustment, I thought was spot on but it obviously wasn't.
    Shame you won't switch because the majority of players at this level use some type of grid or simple crosshair even if only the Notebook crosshair.

      @@borisbanko9403 that'd great thank you. I honestly didn't know that would make such a difference but it explains why I fail often with wind tweaks on certain holes using your guide. I'm pretty sure I can also add a second vertical line on my grid configuration or even move the ruler numbers to line up with the ball on the take shot button, shouldn't be that difficult but thank you for sharing this detailed explanation 👍

    Do just to understand if I use a guide from another who use center line then it wouldn't be a problem,if I use a center line.. It's only if the guide uses the ball like you showed 👌

    Boris, as most of the people are using grids, your guide should adjust for the mid grid line;
    for example in Tommy’s guides it says „turn to 12:00 and look where your mid grid line shows and adjust for the angle ...“

    • @johncinq1
      @johncinq1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Exactly! Tommy's and even Fenzl and Peter Johnson's guides all adjust from center, it's the way it should be.
