Man yeah Mr Monty, that's a neat little tiller!! Always something with parts and never being what we need when we need it 🤦😁 At least you found the 1/4 carriage bolts and were able to replace them! Had to chuckle over that statement and the pull rope 🤣🤣🤣👍👍😁😁 That k you sir for bringing us along, sorry I am so late!! Hope you found the right belt and we see it in the soil soon!! 😁😁😁😁😁🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍👍
It's hard to find the right parts sometimes without a manual. The carriage bolts and pull rope was unappreciated added problems. Yes, I found a belt. I'm having a little trouble finding a Briggs and Stratton air filter here local. I'm sure I can find one online. Your welcome, I enjoy bringing you all along for the ride.
Almost every time I need a belt and don't know for sure what length I need I end up with one being too long or too short. That's why I try real hard to not get it dirty or anything because my local hardware will take it back and let me try another one. Sometimes I'll just buy 2 or 3 sizes and then return those that don't work.

Yes they are.
Nice old tiller there Monty. Always aggravating when you find yourself guessing belt lengths. Keep up the good work there. Take care.
Thanks. Yes it is.

As you can see I ended up with the wrong size belt. I kept the belt and got a new one. I will use it somewhere. LOL.
Its always frustrating when parts don't fit!
Yes very.
