i'm surprised your videos have quite a low view count, and your sub numbers does not match what you're putting out. it's so refreshing to hear someone on youtube explaining the "real world feel" of the cars, and not repeatedly saying what is written on the spec sheet. this is the same cvt in myvi. on paper it's faster than the 4AT, but those who drive it knows. it feels slow. as if it's delaying the power on purpose. i'm interested to know what you think of the S70 after driving one. we are sort of in the same boat. you from forte, i am from inspira 2012. both good cars. both value for money. you sir, earned a sub. thank you!
Thank you so much! hope you stay tuned for a test drive. Apologies in advance since I can't get access to cars faster than other automotive outlets, it depends on my local dealer really. And yes! the CVT in the Vios kinda sucks and it isn't really helping that this is our first family car with a few other issues (granted - warranty covers it, but it is cumbersome to back and forth to the centre etc) I'm betting the S70 would drive like a Forte and Inspira, since they are of the same size and "feel". But I will know for sure once I get to actually drive it!
@@carswetalk just got my S70 last week boss. honestly it doesn't feel like a sub 100k car. i'd say the road feedback in forte and inspira are much better. S70 steering feels too "assisted". still nice though. news of android auto/apple carplay update for s70, is music to my ears. i believe you'll love driving this car. it has its downsides, but the positives outweigh the negatives by a mile
Thats a great review on the vios and for the S70. I was on the fence weather the 3 japanese cars for quite sometime. The city, vios or the almera. The almera to me is a bit lacking due to the 1 litre turbo engine as it might be the Achilles heel of the car and also i dint hear any good word of mouth on nissan in quite sometime. The vios on the other hand to me the biggest let down was the lack of a foldable rear seats as the option to have one is a godsend especially buying furnitures, the spare tire is a bit of a let down but i can live with it. The city was my highest pick to buy for my next car but as with all 3 cars they both have cvt gearbox i was put off by it and so i was wondering for quite sometime right until my wife tell me about the proton X50. To be honest at first testing the car i was not a fan as the seating is not suited for me. After that i saw the S70 on display and i ask to test drive it and i was smitten to say the list. After that i buy the car and i never regret buying it. But i still wonder what would happen if i bought either the vios or the city. Would i have the same feeling as the S70 or not.
Actually, on the Almera, I have a friend who owns one and he has spoken highly of it. It's just a shame that Nissan is not that well marketed here, it seems that Tan Chong doesn't really care about it anymore.
UPDATE: This video was made before the latest Daihatsu scandal. As of now, I do not have further comments on what has happened on it. And for those who have already bought a Vios, there's not much we can do until somebody releases a statement. This goes the same for Perodua. This video only covers what I intend to cover and nothing more. If you have further questions, please to comment below :)
@@carswetalk Ive been thinking behind the reason is because they wanted to register the unit next year otherwise they will waste 1 year of depreciation MV with few days left coming to 2024.. thats just my thoughts 🤔

Oh nice! I've been trying to get my hands on one for weeks. I'll let you know my feedback as soon as I can.

Nice voice. If you got a gimball, youre ready go 🙌🏻
Thanks! I do have one but still need to practice how to use it
what is the fuel consumption figure from Official ? how come spec sheet never mention fuel consumption?
There's no official figure yet, strange for a car that is literally out. The Vios however does 5.2L/100 Km
no test drive unit? who the heck sells car under 150k no test drive unit?
Sadly no, apparently most dealers if not all don't have it yet.
I went to showroom, the sales person said, test drive unit only available estimate on january or earlier according to him
A bit too long for normal people to experience the car, and bookings have started I believe

Maybe 🤔 since the car did launch at year end. Hope to test drive it soon!
I wonder why folks nowadays use their middle finger to press button?
I think it's natural 😅 because it's the longest
