AZHT: 3 Farrier Tools - Special Guest Pablo Montano (Certified Farrier)

A farrier should use 3 basic tools
1. Gauge
2. T-Square
3. Dividers
These tools help the farrier know if the horse is balanced, leveled, and toe lengths are equal. You can eye ball all you want but the human eye is not always accurate. Using these tools will indicate the accuracy of the farriers job and is highly recommended to use them. The better your horse is with their hooves the better they feel with you on top of them.
