I thought about getting a boat but with cost of gas and filling every trip was a hard pass, plus maintenance on motor, fiber glass work if its damaged, also i dont like most people so i like to fish by my self kayak works perfect for me, i just upgrade from Oldtown 106MK to oldtown 120 Autopilot(used) pretty happy

I really enjoy kayaking, but it is expensive for what it is. I bought a feelfree Lure 13.5 and a bunch of plastic accessories are reaching over 200$. Anyway, it's expensive, but its also cheaper than a boat.

I’m modding a Sundolphin Aruba 8 that I got for $100 for kayaking, cutting it up and adding rod holders, it weighs hardly nothing, and I’m getting out just as much as anyone else is, with less hassle and less price
People think they’re superior for their sit on top fishing kayaks and fish finders, I just want to get out on the water and have fun, but people get upset that I DARE do that in a cheap ass kayak

I ocean fish off of a Necky Cruiser II for heavy duty, longe range stuff or sometimes an Ocean Kayak Scupper Pro if I feel like going lighter and quicker. Got a bait tank and can paddle a few knots per hour. Gets me on top of the fish and I notice things in/on the water that I would miss were I on a boat.

I notice you are using the brown tinted polarized glass color, I like that for dirty water, yes very easy on the eyes during bright sunlight. But for ocean and clear water to medium murky, I go with the green tint for better water depth sight penetration! Not Blue fin or Tommy Bahama, Oakley or Rayban for $200? 😎
