      there's just one problem with you using Aiger as an example to say they aren't metal.... he's a kid that can easily swing and jump between trees with ease, pull a giant metal construct, pretty much like any kid in anime who are incredibly strong and you are trying to apply real world logic to the characters which just doesn't work.

    Since I was a kid, I've always wondered how possible it would be to have the huge stadiums they have in the anime. If one day someone makes a beystadium accurate to the anime, I'd 100% want to use it

      u could also use metal like used in a chinese wok. They are giant woks in china. U could use the same technique to build even bigger ones. Would be still able to be transported with multiple persons. And kinda cheap depending on the metal. Aluminium could work too.

    Other possible materials could be fiberglass or carbon fiber since they are light and strong. Or maybe they can be made out of a material similar to drywall for the base covered by a layer of any of those materials I mentioned before. As for the see-through part of the double decker stadium of DB, it can be made of the same polimer they use for the windows of an air plain. Or plexiglass, AKA, PMMA. Not sure if those last two are the same thing.

    I completely agree with all of your statements in this video and it was made very well!
    I would also like to point out the fact that the season 1 stadium dented pretty easily with Valt’s air launch, but after season that high launches and hard impacts on the stadium from a launch never dented the stadium meaning they could have updated the material of the stadium to a sturdier version. It also only breaks due to high impacts with lots of heat meaning the heat could have made it so the stadium was hot enough to begin cracking. That’s just my own personal theory on top of yours, thanks for making this awesome video and I hope to see more theories in the future!

    From my country we actually have these wide buckets that are normally used for laundry but are big enough for bey battles and they come in plastic or metal varients
    And judging from the anime when the beys land on the stadium they almost sound like they are landing on a thin piece of metal (burst,god,cho-z,and gt) maybe the stadiums are theoretically made of metal?

    • @BeybladeDad
      @BeybladeDad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So true! Although, I was going to add some maths I did to approximate the weight.. even if made out of Aluminum, one of the lightest metals, a solid beystadium would weight over 1300 kgs..

    Not once did you cover Ceramics... Especially the newer ones which are incredibly lightweight and some are harder than diamond.
    They would potentially break as seen in the materials presented too. As well as incorporate some of the properties involved with the fancier versions.
    They're UV stable, and largely durable in spite of temperature fluctuations and moisture.

    I speculate it is made from cement with metal mesh inside, so they can crack but not fall apart easily. And then probably coated with a resin layer to get a polish surface that can maintain it frictions. But there is probably no material that can generate spark with plastic. Only metal on metal can generate sparks.

    • @BeybladeDad
      @BeybladeDad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      After making the video I can accross a method that's essentially what you described. They used it to make a statue of the virgin Mary in Spain. Mixing sand, cement and epoxy with reinforcement. Smart thinking!
      I agree, the surface has to be different. What do you think of the graphene layer inside? IMO it's a definite possibility. Btw.. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment ✌️

    • @sapolsaikrasun2270
      @sapolsaikrasun2270 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BeybladeDad The graphene wouldn't make a difference. It only make material stronger that are deformable. It won't help with materials that crack instantly like cement. But it can help to make it more friction less. The transparent aluminum was a great idea. It is scratch resistant and strong compared to glass. But I don't know if it would generate sparks if hitting it with metals. If the beyblade tip were made out of metal, then it would probably make sense.

    they might be made of slate. its pretty much clay that's been pressed for so long it becomes rock. slate is pretty hard but also not really heavy. easy to shape too. breaks like stone to. you can also sand it pretty smooth. maybe its just slate with a nice hard paint coating. maybe powder coating it would work. hmm.

    • @BeybladeDad

      That may be, but from my experience with slate... It's extremely heavy. My buddy has a pool table, and the flat part of them is made of slate.. we could hardly lift then😅😅🤔 I could be wrong, and it could have been made of some flat stone. Back in metal fusion we are shown that ginka used to beyblade in a wooden stadium carved out from the trunk of a tree over years and years of beyblade batlles at first he had a genaric bey like any other and the sparks didnt set the stadium on fire (not really scientifically accurate but still) then later with pegasus which has a rubber tip which means the friction is even higher and in turn also the heat still no fire (again not irl accurate) so wood was def used in smaller villages who didnt have acces to other materials
    Then we move on to metal masters when ginka meets 2 members of the chinese team and they have a battle in a gong which as far as im aware is made from metal so metal is also a possible material
    This doesnt mean that all stadiums are made from these matterials far from it actually, but this also prob means that all stadiums will be made from different things depending on where in the world you are.
    There will prob be a standardized construction materials and rules from the wbba which manufacturers have to follow but thatll only be for official stadiums non-official stadiums can be made from anything

    Don't forget that after first Winning Valkyre VS Bloody Longinus (in 3rd season) there was introduced new, much stronger Cho-Z bey stadium, so later ones (3, 4, 5 and 6 seasons) are stronger than previous ones and we didn't see them (new stadiums) being moved from the ground.
    So I can say that old (1 and 2 seasons) and new (3-6 seasons) stadiums are made from different materials

  • @othx9625
    @othx9625 ปีที่แล้ว

    Watching this makes me wanna make a carbon fibre stadium, I’ve used it for the hulls of small boats and drones before and I don’t think it would be that hard to make a stadium since a stadium is basically a bowl

    • @BeybladeDad
      @BeybladeDad  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd love to see that become a reality. What I've seen and done videos of before is 3D printed ones. Even the anime stadiums I use were molded off of a 3d print version. Carbon fiber would be good, but may be expensive if done at scale, but I'm guessing since you have the experience with boating it may be easier. Another Beyblade TH-camr uses dome a skylight as a beystadium... that can also be pricey, but you can just buy one.

    I don't t think is concrete or cement because these have a high number of density so it would whey around 80 kg for a bey stadium of 0.5m radius an 2-3cm width of concrete and 0.3m wall height also it would also have cracks from tension stress so it would be a good idea to reinforce it with metal as well.

    u could also use metal like used in a chinese wok. They are giant woks in china. U could use the same technique to build even bigger ones. Would be still able to be transported with multiple persons. And kinda cheap depending on the metal. Aluminium could work too. And the base could be made out of wood or plastic. And the surface of the metal could be coated with plastic so the tips dont wear so quickly.
