when i first watched that scene i literally lost my shit. they are one of the best things that has ever happened to my fangirl soul.

That scene where he was gonna take her to prom and she left without him and he stood at the top of the stairs with the flowers all sad broke my heart to bits.

I honestly just don't understand how people can hate Ross and Rachel together when they had all of this development. Like it was obvious from the start that they would be endgame and this video reassures me of it. Thank you for this masterpiece

MTE!!! What's worse is that pll actually thought they wouldn't be endgame which is STUPID AF. I'll never understand ppl that 1) liked Joey/Rachel together, they were great as friends but had ZERO romantic chemistry and 2) thought these two wouldn't be endgame, they kept going back to them for a reason because they BELONG TOGETHER and this is a good example of a show that starts a relationship and ends it the way it should end.
I always knew they'll be endgame and they had a lot of great moments,but tbh they were toxic at times.I liked them and I really hope things worked out well for real after the finale ,but they were far from perfect.
I think Rachel deserves better. All the things he did for Rachel before they got together was so he could date her, not to be a good person. And when they do get together, Ross is a terrible boyfriend to her by being jealous and controlling. He even wants her to quit her job just so he could feel like he has a girlfriend.
Lastly, in the final episode where he goes to the airport and tells her to stay (a sweet gesture and really cute) seconds before the plane leaves, its just not right. I know they had gone to the wrong airport and stuff, but he needs to tell her how he feels and not wait until she goes to another continent. Rachel still gets on the plane though because everyone is waiting for her and its *too much to handle right now.* Because of that she comes off as the bad guy.
Im sorry that i dont like them, its just Rachel deserves someone who actually cares about her and knows what he has when he has her.
@@yabasic4105 Rachel wasn't all innocent as well, honestly the blame is to be shared on why their relationship could never work out. Rachel was never able to tell Ross that she still loved him and only wanted him back when he was with someone else (end of s3, end of s4). When she finds out that Ross has ruined its relationship with Emily by himself, making it possible to tell him what she feels, suddenly she decides that she doesn't love him anymore when 10 seconds before, she was ready to ruin his wedding...Let's not forget s8 where ross has been nothing but support throughout the pregnancy. She dates that guy in the begining of the season but doesn't accept when ross dates that girl from the baby shop. How is it fair for him...and then when suddenly something could potentially happen for them again, she says yes to joey and start dating that new guy from her office (s9). Ross wasn't all innocent AT ALL and made plenty of mistakes but Rachel was always the one deciding on everything - whether they should be together or whether they shouldn't and did not like ross moving on from her. Ross is imperfect but never stopped her from being with another guy if that's what she wanted (yes he has a hard time with the whole joey/rachel thing but acted like a grown up and manage to accept it). All to say that Ross and Rachel were highly imperfect but most of their situation came from a huge lack of communication, a far to big ego and their unability to say what they feel. Ross is not the bad guy that treated Rachel like garbage, both are to be reponsible.
They were toxic, immature, childish at times...and definitely far away from been perfect! But...also, one of the most catchiest, exciting, couple ever in tv history...plus the fact that their chemistry while together was just WOW! They were complicated, but...they were THE complicated couple that added at friends a certain additional emotion. And deep down, they never stopped loving each other, they broke up cause they were just so immature, but they grew up a lot apart, and then...they got together! They taught us how we need to work on our own problems before getting on a relationship...and they did! We should appreciate it! They got much better since the first season. They spent 6 years apart, they grew 6 years apart for them getting together...that’s beautiful! We should dream to have a health and ya know...perfect relationship like chandler and Monica did. But...they are each other’s lobsters. ❤️
I totaly agree! This is great to have 2 different couple in F.R.I.E.N.D.S. but I shoud prefer that Ross and Rachel finish together at the end of season 8 or 9, for let us an entire season with them. This show is 25 and still always famous.
When they broke up for the first time my heart was in pieces...
I understand Roschel's relation. I live on/off, on again/off again... relation for 7/8 years. I'm almost 27 and I know I love him but I always do something stupid. This is why I love Ross and Rachel so much, I recognize myself in them. When I saw this show the first time I prefered Mondler is right. But after see that love isn't always like that and may be because I'm in an on off relation I prefer Roschel.
And by the way David Schwimmer is a great actor 😍. I watched the show in VF (french version) but I watch it again in english subtitle for more pleasure.
(And a man who tells you he loves you for many years it's just a dream 😊)

I don't hate them as a couple, but I'm not a fan either. Yes, them being endgame was obvious, but I didn't like their story the first three seasons. There was so much drama for no reason so afterwards, when it got better, I couldn't warm up to them.

This clip is a wonderful piece of 'romantic theatre', however the word 'catch, is significant to another piece of American theatre, I saw at The Dukes Play house, Lancaster, NW England, as an 18 year old school leavers about to go to college, and it was 'Catch 22', I think the author was Joseph Heller. So much of life has been about the latter production ever since (I.e. the literary mention as always about PTSD, long before the lunatic psychiatric profession invented a cocktail of supposedly helpful but nasty drugs for it) but hopefully I'm going to be thinking properly about the first production mentioned and the film clip attached above! That all I can say to y'all folks!

They did not have the perfect relationship, but honestly there is no such thing as a perfect relationship. Just as many have said, they were very immature and both contributed to their relationship falling apart. They were the on and off couple, but we all know deep down they do still love and care for each other. They just had to go through a lot of growing up and failed relationships to understand what true love is. As a viewer was a bit painful and frustrating? YES… but that’s TV for you..they knew the viewers wanted to see whether they were endgame or not. Of course we got other great relationships out of it like Chandler and Monica even Phoebe and Mike.. we got a lot of character development for all characters.
