Got an o7 R model with 5 and a half thousand easy miles and haven't been able to sell it for a year. Guess I'll keep it and make us both happy. Got the solid wheels.Sharp ride there.
You can find nice examples of this bike starting at $3500.00 this time of year, but usually $4500.00 and up. My dad have had no issues at all with this bike, a couple sets of tires and some brakes. Close to 30k miles on it now.
Thank you for the video. It sure is a nice bike. I'm thinking of buying a 2007 Honda VTX 1300R with slash cut pipes. I had a 1998 Harley Dyna Convertible just briefly three years ago and only rode it a few times. How is the 1300R on the highway? Is there lots of torque for passing and high speed cruising? Thank you.
William Thompson this is my dad's bike, and my brother has a 2015 Harley Ultra Classic with pipes and jetting. This 1300 will absolutely smoke the Harley. Torque is abundant, and makes passing easy. Dad has a small fleet of bikes that changes, but this one stays. Do yourself a favor and but it, you will not regret it.
Thank you so much for your reply and information. There is a 2007 VTX 1300R for sale with black slash cut pipes. I didn't realize the performance of the VTX 1300R! I really like the look of the fenders.
@@charlesmarek9207 please reccomend some state highways and state routes??? BTW if you ever head south, check out the illinois river road and follow it to Route 100 which runs all the way into saint louis!
The crashbar is sticking out too much. I am lucky to have survived a crash caused by crashbar catching the pavement. The footboards are flexible for a reason. Consider yourself warned, because if you lean far enough, there will be no warnings.
R stands for retro which is the longer flared fenders. This is an S, which is the R with spoked wheels.
That's correct
Nice i owned vtx 1300r still going strong love mine
Those pipes sound great. Most Cobras I've heard have a loud tinny sound, but those a quiet in comparison.
Looks good. Not cheesy at all.

What is the price of these in bikes in US and where can I buy it online? I live in Georgia, tbilisi and that's the reason of asking.

William Thompson they ride well too. Dad has changed the seat to a custom made one, and at 68 years old he can ride all day without issue.
William Thompson .
where do you ride in illinois? I'm in central IL and I need some good roads aside from the obvious illinois river road!
Tyler Fabish we are near Kankakee, so we typically ride westward, and South usually. Thanks for watching!

1300 cc is 1300 cc, I think... nice bike man.
it is a vtx 1300 S. The S is for spokes. the vtx 1300 R has mag wheels. other than that they both have that nice retro look.
Also there is a small different betwen them on the engine design..but not sure exactly what it is
still better than overpriced harley 👍
and way more reliable
Agreed this and a vulcan
That's an s
You are correct. My dad told me that, but I didn't listen.
More videos coming soon on this VTX1300, as we are doing some winter upgrades. Stay tuned.
Did anyone else get irritated every time he incorrectly pronounced “kuryakin”. Lol
Lol, I do know how to correctly say the word, just think it’s a silly name for bike parts. They do make nice parts, however.
