I always wanted to say this to you, recently I started playing Tekken watching you. You have been very inspiring for me. I am watching your tournament matches all night, still not enough to bore me or the more I watch the more I enjoy. Thank you from the bottom of heart. Still watching and learning from your matches.
JDCR's final thoughts in this splendid vid capture my wandering thoughts in words even though I never could have put it like this. I really think he is right. I like Fahkumram, he is cool and all but there is just something odd about the new chars in general. They replaced spacing and timing with strings, which do that automatically for you. And I don't really like it. Strings and cancels have become a little too prominent and viable.
I also highly doubt we’ll get another “classic” Mishima or Yoshi ever again. Those characters had yeaaaaars to be fleshed out. Hell I love Paul but Paul was garbage until T6 and even then didn’t get to shine until Tag 2... barely. A lot of characters had these weird moves (mostly garbage) later refined into the core moves we see today. It’s just harder to do that with DLC characters/newcomers. Instead of seeing a move that might have a unique property or niche role, they’ll often get written off as junk since they usually don’t slot in into move archetypes. They have to be the “complete” package or risk turning away sales. Hopefully future updates to these characters focus on enabling their unique aspects as opposed to homogenizing them. But we’ll see.
> Instead of seeing a move that might have a unique property or niche role, they’ll often get written off as junk since they usually don’t slot in into move archetypes. or their stats are just too horrible to be worth anything, for example generic 3s
The most unique technical new characters in T7 are the 2d characters. They bring a really different playstyle into the game. I hope they keep them and refine them further in T8 because we not see those unique creative characters like Yoshi, Lei, King, Mishimas etc again.
He's literally just started trying him out and already knows how too good Fahkuhram is. With time Fahkumram will be nerfed in all aspects since so much usage, watch!!!!!
I enjoyed the analysis, but I disagree with some of your statements. I don't really view Fhak cancels as a stance at all. I dont see the how you can compare a stance with every option like Leroys hermit stance, to what Fhak has.
Josie has Switch Stance, and it acts virtually no different from Fakh's cancel window. They're both short windows to access unique moves from specific strings. Fahk's may not be called a Stance officially, but it acts as one due to how you consistently access the same arsenal of moves from a specific cancel. I think the fact that it acts more like a STRING than a stance is what reinforces JDCR's final point even more because it has virtually no timing creativity.
@@ulrich9191 I'm not hating on your beloved character you fucking child. I'm just making connections between two sets of moves that I find are very similar. afaik having a move string that put you into a temporary stance that gives you access to 4-5 different options is literally no different from having a move string that puts you into a unique window to cancel into 4-5 different options
Fahkumram is Over Powered, his throw is unbreakable, rage drive fully connects even if laying on the ground. And many more. But the most annoying part is his throw.
And no Fahkumram is not overpowered. He is mid tier. People who say he's overpowered because of guardbreak please uninstall the game and go play Animal Crossing
Hey JDCR just want to say its awesome you took the subtitle criticism to heart and put the black box behind it, much appreciated.
And then there is knee who dont even give a damn about his non korean fans 🤣
Listens more to the fans than Namco.

We need JDCR on the Radio station to get rid of the Corona Virus asap.

So glad to see you uploading, you play so honestly just feeling out the characters
Nice analysis, JDCR. Totally agree on what you say about interesting/solid characters like Yoshi and the Mishimas.
5:24 "just sidestep bro"
It fucking tracked, I’m dead🤣🤣
“Why sidestep when you can block?”
JDCR speaking korean and english at the same time is heaven
“I’ve been learning this character for 5 minutes, but he’s already giving me a headache.” My thoughts exactly
He is unexpectedly wholesome
Right? He's a robotic assassin in tournaments, but seems derpy and cool af outside of the tourneys.
Oh my god it really is sagat. He even has the kara cancel kick
And the shining scar gimmick!
I've been training and playing with Fahkumram since he came out, hes so good!
Hes OP

They were trying to get away from tag 2, where you needed a PhD in Character Knowledge.
Now you just press buttons, no space or time

Paul was best in t4 actually and tag1
They changed claudio completly going into season 2.

Yeah. And it seems good that they start with that "safe" stuff, and later they can change them into more fleshed out characters.

How the f did he reach suzaku without even know a combo

fahkumram is nice player. but i would prefer Bruce in place of fahkumram. what is your opinion guys.
Try this combo df2 3, f+3, b+1, df1 2~1, b+3 S!, Dash df+1 4~3 2
Can do this combo from bf+4 but it's not as consistent as df+2 3 launcher

HAHAHAHAHAAAA
Stances ? But Fahk doesn't really have stances. They're delayable strings.

I was hoping this would be a 5s video that just said "I don't play ugly characters".
