Why is everyone comparing Richardson to Cam Newton. Yeah, they similar in size, but Cam played one season and won the Heisman and National title. Richardson did not do that, he showed more red flags than positive. Sure, unlike Cam he has a cannon arm, but we know how that sometimes turn out. He needs at least 2 seasons to develop and hopefully sit, but am not a Colts fan, so they can do whatever.
If they put an O line and give him some weapons i think Anthony Richardson will be great . They have a new head coach and a franchise QB and now they can build a team around him.
It’s going to be rough. It always is rough. QB is such a hard transition. They are going to throw picks, look lost and make bad decisions next year. Young probably has the best team situation of the rookie qbs. But it won’t be pretty next year.
I think all 3 of the Black guys who got drafted early will be fine as long as the white organizations they play for don't purposely try to sabotage and undermind them like most teams do with Black qb's.
