I flew ANA from SIN-NRT-SEA and back. Had 3 seating configuration - regional asia was 2-4-2 with fixed back seat and 31" pitch. NRT-SEA had 2-4-2 fixed back and 34" pitch. SEA-NRT was the 3-3-3 recline-able /w 31" pitch that you have took in the video. Out of the 3, I prefer the 2-4-2 fixed back with 34" pitch as the legroom was the most when I did not recline. The regional asian flight was the tightest legroom ever while for the 3-3-3 configuration, one extra column of seat means it was kinda tight in the cabin.

I also flew via Iberian Air... and Iberian's crew didn't even bother doing safety checks or asking passengers to stow stuff away.
Heading to Haneda Airport this afternoon for my trip to Vancouver. First time at Haneda and on the 787 Dreamliner. Hoping to arrive early and get the exit row seating. I'm a tall guy so I need the leg room in economy. We so excited.

Great overview of the flight! Tremendous viewpoints across the Pacific. That football style block or bodycheck in the jetway was just uncalled for. Especially if you were all headed for Manila. Craziest action I've seen was at Sydney-Kingsford in the immigration line during one of my connections. People cutting the que left, right and center. Happy Holidays! Looking forward to the 2nd leg of this journey :)

Is it true that even when the plane is on ground for ANA and JAL that they don't allow passengers to see the cockpit? Because I remember traveling ANA last year, and they didn't let me see the cockpit while getting off (this was on a Dreamliner). I am just curious. Other than that, I had a great experience with the airline as well as the flight attendants.

My family and I fly a lot and just to say Japan has high tech security (seriously) when we were going to the Philippines we went through security in Chicago and it was fine but once we went through security in Narita they spotted a garden tool which was suppose to be in one of our checked in luggages..
Is that an ANA representative escorting you through the airport to make your connecting? If that's the case, that's awesome, United doesn't do that...another reason why I'll be flying ANA instead of United to Japan.

Your Wife did an awesome job, I think She is better than You!!(No just teasing, You are Both very great), yes I am an Airbus Guy, but I must admit that the 787, is a wonderful aircraft and hope all of its problem is behind that wonderful aircraft and having long life and success, She will have competition as the Airbus 350XWB somewhat, they resemble a big bit. The end of the video, seems to be very hectic to catch the other flight, it is not right to do that though, but the intangibles with the Volcano, it is not always like that I think. Excellent job from Your Wife and and Hope and Pray She will have wonderful time with Family and You too and the Best of the Holidays for You too at Seattle. Take care and have a super day.

Henry Jiang But they make a cute little foot carrier below the seat infront of you inorder to feel like you can stretch out just a bit more! If you're taller than 5', you're going to be aching after a trip over the Pacific in Economy class. I'm surprised also it's not 7 abreast.
787's economy is probably one of the worst IMO. The seats are extremely tight. Set your expectations low. The width is going to make most people quite uncomfortable. And I did not notice reduction of noise on this aircraft either. Lots of hypes.

As has been said already, 3-3-3 looks a little tight. It's a shame most airlines have opted for this configuration on the 787.
