Just found this today after 27 years. First time I've heard it since the 90s. God the memories. Slight tear in eye as these days will never come back .
This was filmed at the cafe de paris club in London. I remember it being a long morning ! I was an extra in this video although I cant see myself yet! haha! Absolute classic from tin tin out. Great memories!
That's the problem with being an extra. My mum was an extra in a film once "people in the crowd" she was there from early morning till about 11 at night....she never saw herself in the film Whahahaha!! But she had a great day!!
Endsleigh League Football Extra in the mid-nineties - bless you! Great memories. The music was featured when the upcoming weekend's matches were televised.
I was born in the early 80s but feel more like a product of the 90s where I spent my youth. So thankful to have witnessed these times, still feeling so carefree and lighthearted. Today's life just feels like an infinite darkness for me, but these memories coming back when I listen to this tune can feel a bit soothing sometimes. So there's always something there to remind me...
It was brilliant. I had 3 holidays and was just enjoying being a kid, being young. Everyone was alive then. It was the best. Now it’s not the same. Bills kids and parents dead ☹️☹️
Ben, do we assume that the black and white parts of this video are part of the original 1994 music video of Espiritu Always Something There To Remind Me?

I saw it on Now 90s and Clubland TV not too long ago.
Made it on to Disc 2 of Now 30. That’s how I know it so well as I played that Now til it fell apart in the mid 90’s
@@eb00jpp its what matters is that i am listening now !!!!
And on PolyGram TV’s Dance Zone Level 5 on CD2, although it was the Tooley St. Edit which I love even more.

Excellent tune. Love it. Mind, the lyrics must have taken a while to write 😂.

Burt Bacharach masterpiece
Not that much of the song remains here
@@PopUnlimited unfortunately no
Burt Bacharach could pen a tune when he wanted to.

Burt Bacharach brought me here.
And he would be puking over this version.
@@martyklestadt6766 You're right, Marty - it's not the best mix, he'd prefer this one:

trailer original
Well, that was a waste of three and a half minutes.
Where the heck are the rest of the lyrics?!?
The original sixties version is a shitty pop song. This is not really a cover, it's a sample, thank God
@@saulbadman6699 Agreed. The Naked Eyes cover may be the best cover ever in terms of improvement over the original.
