Stand Stay Get Your Leash

This video is one in a series of videos designed to help the handler, trainer and/or student in successfully exhibiting in the Open Class. This video covers the Stand Stay Get Your Leash Exercise. It provides insight into the Regulations, Processes and Scoring of the Exercise.
Trainers are free to utilize the video in their training process. Handlers should not consider the contents of the video to be all that is required to be successful in showing in Obedience. Quality instruction is key to learning how to teach one's dog the complexities of each exercise.
It is important to realize that while the penalties discussed in the video are common, each judge sees an exercise slightly differently and may apply a lesser or greater penalty as long as such penalty is within the regulations.
