Thank you for this video. I did not get to experience any of the Chama trips, so it is splendid to see video, a pity though that Eureka failed. What an amazing lineup this was. I must say having seen 315 in her D&RGW condition, it was splendid to see her in the earlier D&RG condition.
I remember when this event first happened and my recommended was blowing up with all of the videos from this event. Truly a beautiful event and I wish I didn’t live so far away or else I definitely would have gone
I didn't realise that this front link-and-pin drawbar on 4-4-0s is stiff enough to be used while double heading a regular train. I thought it was designed only for shunting or emergencies. Greetings from Poland.
Hi, really interesting and nice video. I like these American narrow gauge railways very much. The old locomotives are simply beautiful. (But it is a pity that the overall impression is often spoiled by a large number of cars that do not fit there at all. )

Did Hyce get to run the Rio Grand Southern 20 during this event
497 deserves to run again!
I can't help but notice that it looks like the Eureka has some sort of LED bulb in her headlamp
It is a real oil burner, I watched the crew set it up one morning.
Which railroad is it that has the green diesel and silver coaches
I think you are refering to the Alco RSD1 at 0:28 that is the North Alabama Railroad Museum in Huntsville.
I noticed that you spelled eureka wrong you did yu than eu
Yeah I'm dyslexic, didn't notice it when I edited the video.
