    if I may suggest something... keep camera from inside and maybe do cinematic ones on hairpins etc... I really enjoy cockpit view it makes much more immersive watching experience.
    Focus on your face :D this is serious business

      Yeeeah but thats what all the other simracing channels are doing too. I really like the different cameras and cuts. I think it is a nice change from the usual simracing videos. Also l, it makes you appreciate the very real gaming experience rather than immersion in a car which isnt really there.

      The camera-positions are "mixed" by the game itself, unless you fix it to one position. For this kind of reviews a mix of views is more spectacular for viewing afterwards.

    • @wotever99ninynine
      @wotever99ninynine 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      agreed. i tried dirt rally 2.0. there must be something wrong with my wheel settings etc for that game. the car drives all wrong. the steering feels off, the ffb is so bad as to make it unplayable for me. either the ffb is as bad as some say and really does affect driving, or dirt rally 2 lliterally feels nothing liket he first one and is impossible to drive.. feels like forza horizon did to me on a wheel, like it was emulating analogue stick movements but with a wheel.. i dont get it. something must be wrong. unless i just suck that bad? could it be that its on a pancake screen? surely not, that couldnt make that much difference. but i literally havnt played dirt rally pancake in years, i always play it in vr, with my g29 set to 540 degrees.
      but watching this vid it looks very much like a dirt rally game, the way she drives with lots of throttle seems impossible when i try. i dont know how to explain it. i hope its a bug and codemasters patch it, because so far i just keep having to go back to original dirt rally instead to get any enjoyment out of my virtual rallying in the weekends...

    Just wow. I could not do that. I use VR, would have to blindly shift, and grab e-brake if I had one. I do just dirt oval on iRacing. One gear, and go. I tried the off road truck, with my clutch as my e-brake, and kept forgetting to down shift. The clutch did not work well as an e-brake.

    Who says women cant drive ??? You definitely can, thats for sure. Great driving!
    Long stages start to get tough half way through when the tyres start to ware. Personally i think the cars start to become too understeery when the tyres start to ware. Who knows. Only professional rally driver could tell us if its accurate or not.
    Those auto windscreen wipers put me off big time.

    • @wotever99ninynine
      @wotever99ninynine 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah its horrible. even if its real. i think im the only one that wants it to be as close to reality without being too unsatisfying to drive. original dirt rally achieved that. i like to slide around corners, initiating the slide before i get there judging my speed etc, after hearing the pacenotes to be set up for that corner. that feels amaizng, but then being let down by understeer just ruins it for me..

    • @Tony-1971
      @Tony-1971 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think you just need to adjust. I've seen some guys on TH-cam absolutely driving the hell out of stages in Dirt rally 2.0. The cars feel more weighty in this than the original and you have to balance balance the throttle on hairpins, unlike in the original where you just ground floor the gas pedal. To me the driving feels more natural/intuitive than in Dirt rally. It is a decent game. I love the original, but im starting to prefer 2.0 more. I would say stick with the original if you prefer it, but give DR2.0 some time too. One thing i do hate about DR2.0 is the horrible new dash-cam. The dash-cam looked perfect in Dirt rally. God knows why they changed it.

    • @wotever99ninynine
      @wotever99ninynine 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Tony-1971 I guess I will keep trying, I will probably adjust. I can't stand the current ffb though, it feels unusable to me. It's either heavy with a bit of seesawing side to side, or it's purely seesawing. Your hands on the wheel go left right left right etc etc. Ridiculous. Unless nobody else miss this ffb and somehow adjusts their settings to make it playable it must surely just be bugged for me (and many others). So I will wait for a ffb patch before trying again. I want a pristine experience when I first explore all the new stages etc, and original dirt rally is still miles of fun. Especially with vr.

    • @Tony-1971
      @Tony-1971 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Try to turn the self aligning torque down if you can. I have mine set about 50 which if i remember right is half of what codies have default. I also thought to myself, what the hell is this seesawing thing. It was because i wasn't in tune with the physics and the steering yet. Once you are and youre allowing the wheel to go with the car when its in an oversteer state the seesawing will stop.
      I too thought the cars were like pendulums at first, with as you put it seesawing steering. Honestly that disappears once you've got in tune with the physics and steering. I think codies patch will be for road bumps. Check out the TH-camr Scaff's Sim Racing. He done a feedback setup vid. His settings made the game really playable for me with a T300. In fact the steering now feels more intuitive on this game than it does in Dirt rally. I think codies patch will be out pretty quickly, so you shouldnt have to wait very long. As you say, the original Dirt rally is still awesome to play. I will still continue to play the original Dirt rally too.

      @@toto-wolff The SMALLEST D-Box setup is 12000€!! The Vesaro Rig is around 2300€ (one of the cheapest stages), the Fanatec Podium she is using will be 1500€, the pedals are 375€, the handbrake is 130€ and the shifter is 260€... so around 17000€ + 1500€ for the triple screen setup
      Vesaro and d-box are the most overpriced shit in sim racing imo.
      You actually can get a similar (or better) motion setup for around 5500 - 6000€
      - Aluminium Rig, for example Simlab P1: 700€
      - Simucube DD-Base: 1300€
      - Automotive quality custom wheel with button plate: around 800€ but you also can get cheaper ones.
      - 4x DIY SFX100 actuators for motion: around 1700€
      - Racing seat: you get good ones for already 250€
      - Heusinkveld Bundle "Sprint Pedals+seq shifter+handbrake": 1060€ (there are also cheaper options)
      - H-Shifter TH8A: 125€

      @@Tintop - Thanx so much for the info dude! The Vesaro are overpriced as you say but look awesome....I went to their site a couple of times and i was impressed!!! but the money they ask are ridiculous...IDK maybe someone can do something descent with even less than the money you are saying, if they put a lot of research and DIY...maybe it is just my wishful thinking!

    • @Tintop
      @Tintop 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@vizviros sure :-D there are great aluminium profile rigs out there for 300 to 400€. Then get a smaller simucube like the 12Nm oder 7Nm (but it's not recommended, the motors are getting too hot, my 20Nm Simucube stays stone-cold no matter what I'm doing to it). The pedals Simracinggirl is using are decent (Fanatec CSP v3) enough and have loadcell brake. You could mount a used car seat to the rig.. that would be around 50€ to 100€ I guess. Also you can use cheaper custom wheels on the DD.. you can get some for around 400€. Good and cheap shifter is the TH8A from Thrustmaster. It's possible to use two of them (one for H-Shifter and one for sequential or even handbrake). The SFX-100 actuators that are DIY is the cheapest quadmotion you can get, but you need to build them yourself. material cost is 400€ to 450€ per actuator, depending on market prices..one actuator then has 750W.. thats 1hp ;)
      Sooo it would be like this:
      Aluminium profile Simrig: 400€ (+150€ for some optional accessoires like keyboard tray etc)
      Used car seat: 100€
      DD-Base (Accuforce here because it's a bit cheaper): 1000€ (but I think excluding VAT)
      No custom wheel for the accuforce needed, it has one.
      H-shifter & Handbrake/Sequential (2xTH8A): 250€
      Fanatec CSP v3 pedals: 375€
      optional DIY quadmotion: 1700€ (search for SFX-100 on youtube)
      summed up to 4075€... and even when you decide to go for quadmotion later, maybe next year, this setup will give you loads of fun and joy.
