"do you see that horse? Is that Valegro?" LOL I don't know why but that cracked me up. And bless Bear is so flipping cute. How could a judge NOT like Bear? That is such a shame :( Onto the next one, I personally think you both did great in all your tests :)
I mean a 67% is a good mark in Denmark, maybe we are just stingy with out marks? Because you almost never get above 8 for something if you aren't a professional. I have never met anyone who did dressage in Denmark who got a 9 or 10 for something, even those who are pretty good at what they do. Unless its like Danish championship or something equally as high, you almost never will get 9s in these low level tests, therefore a 67% is really good. 6-6.5-7-7.5 are the most common marks giving in this level of dressage where I am from, so to get 67% you need a lot of 7-7.5, so I think she did brilliantly.
I don't get how the judge could not like 🐻 bear 🐻 she's the sweetest pony ever. I mean she moves nicely She's a welshie She's dun She's a pony She's cheeky She's pretty And she's so frickin adorable What's not to like 10/10 Well done meg And lil spooky bear I love your channel so much It's so funny Hobbit = fashion icon Your ponies = cuteness overload And your riding = amazing Anyways I love your channel so much so thanks for entertaining me and making me happy! 🐻♥️💛💚💙💜🐻
Meg: Why flags? Bear hates flags! Bear in her head: Uh, Meg? I'm not sure if you noticed but we've got some flags here. Would you mind explaining? Lol! I love Meg's videos so much
I recommend Summerhouse’s eventer challenge too! It’s really good fun and the optimum time is EXTREMELY slow which is perfect for having a nice steady round (especially for the babies!). There’s one this Saturday xx
Omg hahahah. When u were in the dressage ring and she was spooking I heard the music and I swear it said "one way or another I'm gonna spook you" and I cant😂 it's so funny🤣❤
Welshies are so good at dodging lurking monsters. You thought it was a sign, Bear knew otherwise , her face when you rode into the indoor school 😂! You both looked terrific. Bear is so neat and you rode her so nicely while she was having a freaky five minutes. You both have such a great relationship and it showed by the way she coped under pressure.
I have found it really hard competing with coloured horses in dressage and showing. But they don’t really care in eventing and show jumping. I had a overo gelding and some judges absolutely hated him. But there was one judge who loved him and we once got 89% in a novice test with her. Best score ever! Especially since we would often get like 51%.
That's crazy you went to summerhouse! I'm always around that neck of the woods and my boyfriend lives in Gloucestershire. Love your horses and your approach to training them btw, keep doing what you're doing! P.s. there should definitely be a baby bear running around....
Ok I do love the stripes hobbit and when will you be adding it to your collection so the rest of us can be as fashionable???? Bear did an amazing job even with the few Shies and breaks xx hard off to you both and omg at her first inside test!!!!! What an achievement for bear who had never been in an indoor arena, especially with a viewing area... she did amazing xx 😘
Absolutely love you videos and your amazing family of horses and of course your mum you are soo lucky and you are such a great rider and i love how you are just so amazing❤️❤️❤️ can I ask what part of England you are based in xxx keep up the good work and I love your mums top and always be confident ❤️❤️
Ohhh Hobbit Mum, would you mind explaining some of the moves Meg Mog does in her Dressage, for some of us that are not familiar. I happen to love your vintage polo shirt, c'est chic. Meg luuuuvvving the vlogs, I cannot watch them all in one sitting, as I get withdrawls symptoms until the next one. 🐎🥰🤗
Good to know that judges in the UK also have a complete lack of sense of humour and hate certain horses. Every judge in France hates my horse and I think he's gorgeous!
I got the same score as you in the my first prelim lol. And u say it's a bad score Anyway I'm really not hating as I love love love your channel it's just funny lol that I got the same score as you and it just shows how good you and bear are if 66 percent like me but it's not a good score for u but for me it's good lol. Anyways well done I love bear she's so sweet and you ride her so well. ♥️💛💚💙
I don't get what you're complaining about with 67% and 69%, that's really good. In my country it is unheard of people in the lower levels getting 79%. If you do you're clearly ready for the next level of tests. Someone I "know" competed in dressage and got a 74%, and she had 10% more than number two in her class. She had dropped down a level to gain some confidence in her youngster. That was roughly the same level as what you're doing. I don't know if it's a difference between countries, but they all follow the FEI scale of judging, so it shouldn't differ that much.
The first one was Prelim 19 right? (I had to compete it on a championships so I think I know it for life now😂) You did really well apart from the spooks!
Your programs are really hard considering you aren't even sitting the trot. In Denmark we have like 2 programs where you don't have to sit the trot, but then the program is only 10 things. And that is 20 m. cirkels, changing the rain and more cirkels and no canter.... Britain goes hard for low level dressage, no wonder the Brits are good at dressage, you have to know a lot more to compete at low level than we do.
Are you able to have a quick chat with the judge and see what she really didn't like? I know there are comments on your sheet but chat could be insightful??
You usually get 79%????????? How? Im sorry, but 69% would be above standard for a test like this, you did really well, but expecting 79% for this is criminally!!! You would be very surprised if you ever rode in Denmark, you would probably average around 65-73% Depending on the judge. Like he has fine movements for a pony, but if you were gonna get above 70% you need a walking machine, and no mistakes, no nothing. You simply don't get those kind of marks in Denmark. Like riding a 69% would be a good day for everybody who rides on this level.
If you ever happen to do a bad dressage test, no one will believe you, because you say it every single time! You’re like the girl who cried “bad dressage”.
"do you see that horse? Is that Valegro?" LOL I don't know why but that cracked me up. And bless Bear is so flipping cute. How could a judge NOT like Bear? That is such a shame :( Onto the next one, I personally think you both did great in all your tests :)
I laughed at exactly the same point!!!

In conclusion welshies are just special! They have hidden sensors that allow them too see extra extra monsters🙄😂 great video Meg x
Meg: Why flags? Bear hates flags!
Bear in her head: Uh, Meg? I'm not sure if you noticed but we've got some flags here. Would you mind explaining?

Bear is SUPER cute as usual
Well done Bear. Spooky indoors😝 onwards and upwards!!

I recommend Summerhouse’s eventer challenge too! It’s really good fun and the optimum time is EXTREMELY slow which is perfect for having a nice steady round (especially for the babies!). There’s one this Saturday xx

Bear looks wonderful
Honestly that was one spooky indoor. What was with all those creaking doors? I think I would have spooked too LOL. Poor Bear!
I missed Hobbit at that show but Sally had me laughing

Absolutely love you videos and your amazing family of horses and of course your mum you are soo lucky and you are such a great rider and i love how you are just so amazing❤️❤️❤️ can I ask what part of England you are based in xxx keep up the good work and I love your mums top and always be confident ❤️❤️

It's all about experience, she will have learnt a lot and you will have as well, I expect.
She is jaw dropping beautiful 😍 your riding is spot on 👏🍏🥕🏆🍾🥂🏆
*Small drip of water on Megs Jods
Meg: Omg i need to to go get changed again😂
When I get my jodhpurs really dirty at a competition I just ignore it 😂🥕🐴
Livi Moss one dog leapt on to my white jods with muddy paws 😂
Oh that’s bad 😲
Livi Moss 😂 Same
Put some flags around your arena . that will be the end of the issue …..
Aww I love bear so much xx
Plus you are such a talented rider I hope i can get as good as you
Can’t wait to watch new video ❤️☺️
Good to know that judges in the UK also have a complete lack of sense of humour and hate certain horses. Every judge in France hates my horse and I think he's gorgeous!

If you’re getting over 75% - 79% you should be going up a class.
I got the same score as you in the my first prelim lol. And u say it's a bad score
Anyway I'm really not hating as I love love love your channel it's just funny lol that I got the same score as you and it just shows how good you and bear are if 66 percent like me but it's not a good score for u but for me it's good lol. Anyways well done

M B Equestrian why is “know” in quotation marks? I wanna know the tea sis ☕️
Because I only know her from online.
The first one was Prelim 19 right? (I had to compete it on a championships so I think I know it for life now😂) You did really well apart from the spooks!
have sally say mac and cheese in your horses ear before you go into the arena haha idk why but my friends and i do it but it works 95% of the time!!!

What do you mean by treading on a new numnah?
You usually get 79%????????? How? Im sorry, but 69% would be above standard for a test like this, you did really well, but expecting 79% for this is criminally!!!
