This is not a solipsism at all. If you work in corporate environment, you have to have your eyes and ears open at work at all times. I am happy that I work in a majority black workplace. God willing I will be leaving soon for better pay but I will make sure my out of work life is filled with black people.

If the whites like this man are saying these things to their own people, maybe they would listen better and think things through in a better way. I quit my job when I discovered my white colleagues earned twice as much as me when I was doing twice the job, even them were surprised I was earning that low. I'm self employed now and no man alive can pay me what I make, I'm grateful.
In a majority white/Indian corp environment and being the only black guy or girl in tech, be ready to always be a lone wolf in most open social interactions if your not the type to kiss up to the boss and other leaders. Been dealing with it since I been in corp as a bm. Just be there to do your projects and get your pay. It doesn't matter if you go to another crop environment, its all the same.
Black Americans have been saying this for decades and Africans, British Black, Caribbean, and some Hispanics have been telling Black Americans that you complain too much and bring up and talk about race too much. This is nothing new to Black Americans. You guys are just starting to come around to the truth now that you guys are now experiencing it for yourselves now.
You mean publicly traded companies? Where such positions are up for grabs and still controlled by a board of directors? My company is my company, there is and never will be anyone else having a say .

When you know better you do better, it just show that they lack the professional touch they are so adament that melanted being should adhere too. No amount of refresher courses they rigidly try to maintain prepare them for the discipline they battle to gain. When it dawn that their ploy is deliberately done, then it was up to us to maintain that distance when ever the need arose. Some of felt the need to even go along with trying to integtate unsuccessfully, with the go along to get along tactics at the expense of their need to feel comfortable and confident in their work.
