hi rebecca! don't stop posting on youtube please! i follow hundreds of nail art igs and you're one of my handful of favorites. do you have recommendations or sources finding nail stickers by content? also what are your tips and tricks for freehanding lines? my hand gets so shaky, i can't even do a simple star of bethlehem!

Hi!! 🤗💗 aw thank you so much!! I actually have such a hard time finding nail stickers 😅 I got a bunch of amazing ones from TAT in Japan, but otherwise I find I just kind of stumble across some accidentally! Danji Nail had a really great selection though the last time I checked!!
Ouuf! Free hand lines are tough!! When I find myself to be especially shaky I do a few things. I start with a loooong liner brush. Like one of the very long ones. All that extra length absorbs a lot of shakiness. I’ll also anchor my hands and arms. So I rest my forearms on the edge of my table, and if I’m doing my own nails I’ll rest my hand on the top of my lamp and place my pinky from my painting hand somewhere on my other hand to help steady myself. If I’m painting a clients I rest my arms the same way and get my client in a good position so their hand is balanced, and again use my pinky pressing in their hand for balance. It definitely takes some practice but I hope this helps!!

I really missed your content I'm so glad you're back and that the video is so long 😩❤️ being a nail artist myself it really motivates me to see you work. Also you should really try out the black gel colour from nailz by dev (the bottled one) I really like it and it has a nice opacity! they don't ship to Europe, and I'm running low and I really need to figure out what black gel to get next🥲

Aw that makes me so happy!! 🥰💗 ou I’ve never tried any Nails by Dev products but they all look so so nice! Maybe I’ll have to place a cheeky lil order 👀

I have the same mayo base and it lasts sooo long it’s amazing. Definitely my fave. I also recently bought the watery builder and it’s beautiful. I’m not used to pots but it so easy to work with and refine xx

This set was so cool!! Those silver spikes 🤌Missed seeing your content! 🥰 You inspired me to get an airbrush machine and the paint you mentioned, but have been having a hard time using it because the cleanup is proving difficult. Do you have any content or recommendations for details on how to clean it out after use for nails? I haven’t really found any good content about that & dont want to ruin the machine by clogging it! 😬
    Xx

Ou yay!! I’m so glad you’ve jumped into the airbrush world!! I don’t have any content on it, but I can provide you with some suggestions!!
I use the Iwata airbrush cleaner throughout the service as well as to clean my airbrush. They recommend that you take a part your airbrush after you use it every time but if I’m honest that doesn’t always happen for me 🙊 before I start my service, I put some of the airbrush cleaner into the airbrush bowl and let it sit for a sec. I then unscrew the back side and carefully remove the needle. I put some more of the cleaner on a wipe and gently wipe down the needle before inserting it back in and screwing it closed. I then spray all of the airbrush cleaner into an airbrush dump pot. I then go about my service by popping my first paint into the airbrush. If I’m using multiple colours I will pop some of the cleaner into the bowl of the airbrush and using a brush give it a little wipe down before spraying it through. This would also be a good time to wipe down the needle again if you felt like your airbrushing wasn’t going as smoothly as you’d like. Then I pop in the colour and repeat the process. After you’ve used the cleaner though and have inserted the paint, always be sure to spray onto a bit of paper towel before going for the client because there’s always a bit more of the cleaner that can come out. When I’m done with the airbrush I run some more cleaner through and wipe down the needle again before putting it away. For a deep clean you can take all the parts apart and soak the little nozzle bits in some cleaner to get all the dried paint off. You can get some airbrush cleaning tools too to get inside the airbrush for any dried paint. I’ll also put a drop of the airbrush oil in where the trigger is to keep things moving smoothly.
The great thing about this paint is it is water soluble, so you won’t ruin your airbrush if it gets clogged, it’ll just need a bit of cleaning 🤗 hope this helps!!

@@RebeccaRamsdale are you kidding me this is SO helpful. I had no idea they even made cleaner for it, I was using alcohol and it just wasn’t cutting it. The machine came with some brushes so will def use those too. Thank you so muchhhhh!! 💖💖💖💖 can’t wait to play more with my airbrush paints now!🥰

Hi, starting off by saying I love your videos! I have some questions if you have the time to answer? I am looking at the Zombie base gel and the Mayo base gel and was wondering are they like an all in one deal (aside from top coat). Like do you use them to build directly on the natural nail (after preping with a bond). I'm going to try and watch some other videos to figure it out but thought I'd ask directly. Also do you have a preference between the two or like something to say about the differences between them?
Thank you so much for you time !

      Hi!! 🤗 thanks so much!!
I love both base gels! I usually go for the zombie base though because it’s thicker and I love a thick base! I don’t build with them though. If I’m doing a structured set I do love the Mayo Easy clear gel! I also don’t prep with a bond, just a good wipe with alcohol and go right in with the base. Lmk if you have any other questions!!

@@RebeccaRamsdale Ah yess! I was going to get some Nail Thoughts gel recomended by a friend. I was using Luminary for a while until the gel got really gunky, even in ones I'd barely used and had to throw them all away. Glad to hear you like it! thank you

I just thought of one last question since I want to try and make an order from sweetie nail soon :P What non-wipe top coat do you use before your chrome powders?
