This was the greatest "DIY" video I've ever seen. I laughed about dropped washers, slipping windshield, using the phone timer, forgetting to mention about disconnecting the battery, etc. Just like a normal, everyday person working on his bike. No slickness and a little bit of humor. Good job!!
He Failed that's the way I do it LoL, most of my demonstration videos are just me working on my bike, no rehearsals. I'm usually learning right along with you. I enjoyed reading your comment, it made me laugh.
Man, thank you so much for the video. I installed mine today in less than 30 min. and had no problems at all. Again, thank you very much. I love your videos, keep them coming
So I watched your video a week ago I now have the same lights on my 2016 roadglide special they look great and best of all I have a couple friends that have roadglides and beat them to it. Great product they look great , so far nothing but compliments. Thanks for the video was as easy as u showed . Bike is much more visible and especially on side of bike I can now see the turn signals . Thanks again great job
great job I have the dynamic rings with the chrome ring of white led and insert to Amber on turn and these would be a great addition . Great job bike looks great
Hey Andrew thanks for informational video. Got me thinking about my RGU doing the same thing. I just recently got the new head light trim, comes in black or Chrome. a little can add a lot.
I noticed that you used to own a batwing and now have the shark nose, maybe you could go over the differences that riding one makes. Notice on the shark nose, things seem easier to up grade like this product front speakers. Thanks. Tom
+Thomas Henderson ooooh, I'll try to come up with something maybe, that bat wing was a custom application though, I'd actually feel better leaving that comparison to someone who's owned an actual Harley Davidson bat wing. Mine was a road king classic that had been turned into a bagger, the fairing was 🔜Hoppe industries. The road glide handles worlds better than my custom road king did but I'm not sure it's a fair comparison if that makes sense.
I think according to thier instruction you are supposed to disconnect the negative battery cable or pull the fuse but (and I'm not saying it's a good idea 😆) I never do that.
Very nice. I'm looking to install an 8" lightbar on my RGU. Based on what you did, I have determined that I will need to create a metal bracing and attach it to the under fork carriage. If anyone has examples of theirs I could use a heads up. Thanks for posting.
Okay, good job on the video. However I keep seeing the same mistake on installing the windshield. Take a look at the way Harley slotted the windshield instead of just holes. Install the trim with the screw first, then just slide the shield down and in. They even slotted them for compensation of the curve of the shield. Just FYI.
Thanks for this great instructional video! I already have the ProBeam turn signals and am seriously considering adding these windshield leds for the added visibility (plus they look really cool). Are the trim pieces metal (aluminum?) or plastic? Thanks.
I enjoy your videos and subscribed. Do you know if the Ciro LED Fang Headlight Bezels will work along with the Custom Dynamics LED fairinglights? Thanks
I went to Custom Dynamics' website and was unable to FOR SURE find the exact turn signal inserts you have. All of their pictures show the outer ring as white and the inner cluster of LEDs as Amber. I want the setup you have with the white center cluster and the Amber outer ring. I tried ordering what I thought were the right ones for my '16 Road Glide Ultra CVO. They are the Dynamic Ringz, part number GEN200-AW-JAE. I hope that's comparable to what you have. I left a voicemail for them to call me before they ship it so I can confirm.
+David Sidler I have the Dynamic Ringz. I'll try to verify the part number if I can find it. But CDs customer service is really, really great so they should be able to help get it figured out also. Let me know how it goes.
Thanks for responding! It's also good to know they have responsive customer service. After doing some more digging on their website and comparing it with other color combinations, it appears as though the 'AW' in both of our part numbers would be what I want as the first character of the AW is the outer ring color (Amber) and the second character is the inner cluster (White). I may be wrong, but that's my story so far. lol I'll come back and post what I find out for sure when they repopen after Easter.
Thanks for the part number which are basically the same. The difference with the JAE was that one is for the CVOs. So yeah, it could either be a different plug or BCM/ECM? or whatever controls it.
+chuck miller those are Custom Dynamics LED Dynamic windshield trim. I have them available in my Amazon influencer store www.amazon.com/dp/B076FBSFBK/_encoding=UTF8?ref=exp_inf_pl_touringmidwest
Great video, I just bought a pair for my wife's RG3. Appreciate the breakdown of the fairing and the BCM tip. Keep it real.

Nice looking and I like the idea of having lights up high, thinking it may attract drivers attention.
Definitely!
Man, thank you so much for the video. I installed mine today in less than 30 min. and had no problems at all. Again, thank you very much. I love your videos, keep them coming
Awesome, glad I could help!
Thanks for the ideas! North Alabama watching here.
I appreciate you being here.

+Uncle Rico Awesome, glad I could help in a way!
Drew, great install video. I am looking forward to more videos. I really like the lights and plan on getting a set for my new ride.
+Michael Flynn thank you, the more visible the better in my opinion.
Very nice Drew! Whatever you do don't drop the washers. Doh!! LOL.
+Doug Morgan they are tiny, I cant believe I found it LoL
Been there, done that.
Glad I'm not the only one to spring for the low-profile oil drain pan from Harley. Haha. Ride safe bud...
I love that drain pan, I use it for the truck as well.
Nice lights. The extra is they also work as turn signals...
Right and added visibility for other people on the road
great job I have the dynamic rings with the chrome ring of white led and insert to Amber on turn and these would be a great addition . Great job bike looks great
+Uncle Rico thank you, yes CD has some amazing products.
Dude, that's bad ass, I'm bout to buy a ROADGLIDE too so those are a must. Ride Safe!
They are very cool. You'll love the Road Glide for sure.
Those look great! Really accents the shark nose.
+HarleyTrek Oh yeah, they look pretty cool in person.
Great video can not wait to install fairing trim and turn signal on the beast.
+Donald Gustafson you won't be sorry, it looks great 👍
I have the Klock Werks Pro Touring 15" windshield on my Road Glide. I highly recommend getting one. Its awesome.
+Trey Bennet I'll have to check that out, thank you. Though I don't mind the stock windshield actually but it would look better smoked out.
I have less wind in my ears with it and can hear the stereo so much better. My wife is happier to get some of the turbulence off of her.
I will be getting those custom dynamics myself. Thanks for the video.
+Trey Bennet no problem, hope you enjoyed it.
Those are super cool. I might be looking for a set in my future. Ride Safe
They are awesome!
thanks for the video very good job of showing how to install. but I have to ask about the cover on your dash behind the windshield
That’s from Harley Davidson.. it’s their road glide windshield bag or pouch or whatever
Sweet upgrade. Maybe someday!
Hey Andrew thanks for informational video. Got me thinking about my RGU doing the same thing. I just recently got the new head light trim, comes in black or Chrome. a little can add a lot.
+Steven Rizzo yeah absolutely, that's one thing I should have added to this video...these are also available in chrome.

Great video. I am ordering right now.
+Diverbelo Perfect, I think you'll love them!
Sweet lights! Even sweeter to get them for free!
+BrewCityRider I love them so far, can't wait until the weather gets nice enough to ride more so i can show them off a little.
Great video Andrew... Did you have to remove the main fuse before install? Thanks
I think according to thier instruction you are supposed to disconnect the negative battery cable or pull the fuse but (and I'm not saying it's a good idea 😆) I never do that.
Touring Midwest, thanks bro. Ride safe! Just subbed

You are absolutely correct and it makes it alot easier.. rookie mistake but I've since learned better lol.. thank you.
Great video
+PETER ULFE Thank you. I'm glad you liked it!
Thanks for this great instructional video! I already have the ProBeam turn signals and am seriously considering adding these windshield leds for the added visibility (plus they look really cool). Are the trim pieces metal (aluminum?) or plastic? Thanks.
+Jon Ertsgaard hello, the windshield trim is metal, real nice quality. Great fit and finish!
I enjoy your videos and subscribed. Do you know if the Ciro LED Fang Headlight Bezels will work along with the Custom Dynamics LED fairinglights? Thanks
Thank you for subscribing, Yes they do work together perfectly, all plug and play.
@@Touringmidwest Thank you!

I have a 2016 Road Glide Special. When adding the fairing lights or even the dynamic rings, did you have to have a load equalizer?
