In Love & Thunder the audience had to SEE the gods beings dicks and then have gorr comment on it later so we could maybe agree with him, because otherwise we just see him as insane. Quick question. If Kang started it wouldn't it lead to the same point in secret wars with the doom council which pretty much does the same thing? It's very hard to follow the continuity of Marvel Comics when you compare Comics versus movies and don't get me wrong I'm a fan of both but its very difficult.
I like these mini-essays rather than half-assed episode reactions or the podcast format, because I feel the creative writing rather than just "nerd talking to another nerd or the camera"
I dunno about this one; For Gorr, while I understand why he'd be pissed, him killing so many Gods, whether he knows if they're good or bad or not, actually leaves him as a worse character than the Gods he so hates. The Gorr Comics actually portrayed this well. Not to mention, entire species and planets are now doomed because of him. The comics show this actually very well in full, cause some planets wouldn't be able to support life/be hospitable for most life or sentient beings to live and grow. When Gorr wipes out Pantheons, some planets entire ability to support life is taken away. One time, after some Sky Gods died, the planet's atmosphere couldn't naturally keep it up, and it stopped raining and the weather was destructive/chaotic. In the Comics he mentioned how he "knew the truth" and that Sentient life and stuff would blast into existence, and no "Gods" were needed cause life would happen with or without them, but he doesn't get that entirely true, as there's plenty of Planets where without the Gods, the planet simply couldn't sustain life. And when he went after Asgardians, and said Thor's entire Pantheon would be wiped out, it makes you wonder... he's killing all Gods based off the action of a single situation he alone dealt with? And assumed every God everywhere must be the same? Even though ironically it was his Gods fighting to protect life in the Universe by facing Knull who carried the Necrosword. Gorr then kills his God when he asks for help, not even knowing the situation. The movie doesn't do justice to either the Argument for or against Gorr or the Gods nearly as well...
NGL, you've rejuvenated my hope for the MCU and I really hope this theory is close to accurate. I like all the layers but man, the part where gods are just super mutants is so awesome!!
Well done Guys. This is a really enjoyable episode 💛 It is a great insights into Marvel. I'm half afraid to say it to my kids in case this theory makes it to the big screen😂
J Michael Strazinski wrote this theme the best. The gods of chaos (Shadows) and order (Vorlons) fought each other using races they uplifted as proxies, only the these lesser races got tired of that, made a huge space fleet, and told the Shadows and Vorlons to 'get the hell out of our galaxy'. (5 years of Babylon 5 condensed)
What's so special about "god killing" weapons? Gods can be killed by regular weapons. I'm pretty sure Hulk could kill Asgardians by punching them hard enough.
Well seeing as slamming him into concrete so hard it left a imprint didn't kill him, I'm not so sure...but also by this theory Hulk would qualify as a god...
This theory is incredible. Well done 👏🏼 I think you may be on the money for nearly all of it. I still think Knull plays a role though, because the Deviants exists in the MCU 616. I believe they're the offsprings / creation of Knull since they're similar to symbiotes. Arishem said The Celestials had to fight the Darkness in The Void. I believe this darkness is Knull in The Void. Both Knull and Galactus can coexist. Knull may even be A Former Herald of Galactus.
I want to know, since Russell Crowe plays the character of Zeus in thor 4, does the the movie Kraven the hunter also take place in the 616 universe because Russell Crowe plays Kravens father (as seen on trailer)??
For me, the issue isn’t so much whether someone with power exists, or even that they have all that and do nothing with it. It’s more a matter of how they came to be in such a comfortable position and yet still do nothing, or nothing compared to what they’ve taken, at the very least. Living in a still Scamperial ruled nation, where it’s all about making the princes rich and powerful, simply for their own money and power’s sake… Oh, Superman, where are you now?
Thanos ...got tons of knee and other knowledge yo ....was basically just a grunt compared to GALACTUS... like if he didn't sweep ...some one was gonna xD Like saying eternals are idk .... ULTRONS DREAM 😂😅😊
That is an amazing theory! It would be awesome to see it play out, but it may be a little too complicated to be understood by the average viewer and how will it all play in to secret wars is an even more interesting question…
Love the theory! I sounds like something that could work but it seems to be too convoluted for Disney/Marvel Cinema. Even Thanos motivation was extremely simple and direct. To tie the sword with Galactus sounds like more work than they normally put into these movies.

I like these mini-essays rather than half-assed episode reactions or the podcast format, because I feel the creative writing rather than just "nerd talking to another nerd or the camera"
Of course Gorr was right. THAT'S THE WHOLE SUBTEXT OF THE MOVIE.
I dunno about this one;
For Gorr, while I understand why he'd be pissed, him killing so many Gods, whether he knows if they're good or bad or not, actually leaves him as a worse character than the Gods he so hates.
Hence why the comics is better. If I recall in the comics, didn't his son (being a part of his sub-conscious) called Gorr the "god of hypocrisy".
As a father and comics fan, this is a perfect video. Exceptionally well done!!!
Despite the… “comedy”… Love and Thunder was more effective in its “Eat the rich” message than The Batman.
NGL, you've rejuvenated my hope for the MCU and I really hope this theory is close to accurate. I like all the layers but man, the part where gods are just super mutants is so awesome!!
Gorr was an anti-hero.
Anyone with half a brain cell knew that Gorr succeeding would have been the best thing ever as he deserved his victory.
I like how the necro sword came from knull and they forget to mention him in Thor love and thunder being so close to venom the last dance
@@warofwrath a new god aka a superhero
One of the best movie analysis videos ive watched in a long time
i ain’t gone lie bruh, u nasty for advertising that nasty cereal. I’ve had it before and it’s terrible 😭
This theory is incredible. Well done 👏🏼
I think you may be on the money for nearly all of it.
The Crusades were reactionary, don't forget that.
I want to know, since Russell Crowe plays the character of Zeus in thor 4, does the the movie Kraven the hunter also take place in the 616 universe because Russell Crowe plays Kravens father (as seen on trailer)??
If only the current MCU was as well written as your theories 😭
Dude you just made the MCU worth watching again xDDD, amazing theory, so much depth, i'm sad its so hard to see any of that in the actual movies xDDD
Awesome video, great work!
I cannot wait for Galactus and Silver Surfer i just HOPE THEY DO THEM RIGHT!!!
Really entertaining and informative thanks a lot really enjoyed that
Glacticus was/is the fullfilment of Thano's dream although he may not have known it, as he keeps the Etenals endless creation in check.
Thanos ...got tons of knee and other knowledge yo ....was basically just a grunt compared to GALACTUS... like if he didn't sweep ...some one was gonna xD
Like saying eternals are idk .... ULTRONS DREAM
😂😅😊
I liked Love and Thunder. It wasn't as good as Ragnarok but it had heart and so ultimately won me over.
The flying sound from the NES Mario 3 when it showed Zeus was hilarious 😂
That is an amazing theory! It would be awesome to see it play out, but it may be a little too complicated to be understood by the average viewer and how will it all play in to secret wars is an even more interesting question…
Awesome as always
Is there an ordered list of movies I need to watch to get this information naturally?
Love the theory! I sounds like something that could work but it seems to be too convoluted for Disney/Marvel Cinema. Even Thanos motivation was extremely simple and direct. To tie the sword with Galactus sounds like more work than they normally put into these movies.
Superb and magnificent explanation👍👍
Absolutely great videos are absolutely great. And this was Grrrrrreeaat stamped by Tony the Tiger!! 👍
Best video from this channel!!!
Amazing illustration.
Enjoyed this content!
I am more than curious on how on earth marvel will manage to explain allat to their audience without losing their 5 second attention span
I totally forgot to watch the post credits scenes in Love & Thunder. Seeing that was a surprise.
Hey will you do one of those “Everything You Need to Know” videos for TWD: The Ones Who Live???
