- New Berlin is a city just west of Milwaukee with no official downtown. But there are plenty of long standing companies, like Weston’s Antique Apples and Conrad Schmitt Studios, and relatively new ones, like Exciting Events and Denali Ingredients. There are community traditions to be enjoyed, like the Soap Box Derby, the Milwaukee Lionel Railroad Club and the Rainbow Restaurant. There are established suburban neighborhoods throughout this area, but also room to build. There are great places for locals and visitors alike to hang out, like Matty’s Bar & Grill, and everyone can feel safe with police dogs Askan and Condor on the job.
Just one warning: While the people of New Berlin are extremely nice, you will be shamed if you mistakenly call it New BerLIN!
Grew up in New Berlin. Went to Eisenhower. Did the Soap Box Derby in 1997 and 1998. Absolutely a great place to have been raised and I feel blessed.
Great job highlighting the best of our community!
Great coverage and bringing New Berlin to the limelight of all it has to offer. It's a nice lil area that has a bunch of attractions within just a few minutes

New Berlin is actually the only city in Waukesha County that includes the entire former township.
The village of Menomonee Falls, most of Brookfield, Muskego, Pewaukee, and now the village of Waukesha occupies all of their former townships. Sorry for the late reply.
@@sovereignjoshinterstellari3975 Nope wrong The village of Lannon cuts out a portion of Menomonee Falls. The remains of the town of Brookfield as well as Elm Grove cuts out Brookfield. New Berlin actually cuts out Muskego a little bit in the SW corner. Waukesha occupies the southern portion of the fmr town of Pewaukee.
Keep in mind I was told that by relatives from the county.
@@sovereignjoshinterstellari3975 Ok well all cities and villages are made up of fmr townships my point was New Berlin is the only one that covers the fmr township as a whole.
Wolfenstein not lying l guess.
New Berlin is snobby af
I agree, and don't even get me started
