  • In this video, we'll take a closer look at this portable speaker and share our honest impressions. While the SE26 delivers exceptional sound quality at medium to high levels, we couldn't overlook its significant drawback-the sound floor hiss or background static noise at lower volume levels. I was just about to order one of these for my golf cart. I saw a few remarks on other videos complaining about the hiss so I was hesitant. When I found your video it sealed the deal for me to pass on it. Unfortunate, but thanks for an honest review.

It feels like one of those items that has a fair number of influencers pushing it. The criticisms are buried a little deeper.

We did in fact return this and went a completely different route. I bought a pair of cardo packtalk edge. There was a duo set on sale for a little over $500. They come with helmet speakers and mic. We don't always wear the helmets so we then modified a pair of headsets to work with cardo. We save our hearing and can talk with ease. For camping or just hanging out we got a jbl charge 5 speaker and a velcro mount from amazon. It costs a little more in the long run but my wife and I think its worth the quality of life improvements.
