    Such a beautiful species profile 💙💛💚. I'm an aquascaper from Chicago Illinois. Getting 2 of these beautiful purple spots 💜 for my fidh room tomorrow. You just got me so excited 😊

      Thats awesome! They are some of the coolest fish you're very lucky to have them. Are they common in the aquarium hobby over there?
      Also they will eat anything that can fit in their mouth

    Terrific video, I spawned convicts first and these second 20 years ago
    can't find them anymore as my pet store can't order them, nicely done video, FYI yours which is 2 years old is directly below another video which is 3 years old which talks of them being extinct...

      They definitely aren’t extinct and are relatively common in Queensland!

    I have a huge female she's 2yrs old 6+ inches dark in color with yellow fins...nor shure if she's northern or southern but ive kept both species...

      @@murkyseb yeah check her out on my channel I have a few videos of her, she is in love with my male delhizi birchir, hopefully I'll find her a mate this year at my LFS one of the most personable fish I've ever kept she loves nightcrawler peices at the moment...

      @@murkyseb no im in ohio I don't think there native around here you have all the cool stuff where your at keep those special species vids coming I love them I keep juvenile gertrude 🌈 rainbows aswell just started getting into them but the footage you got in the wild is great content 😉

    They aren't fire tails....they are Western Carp gudgeon
