Here Here. I'd also wish GP's would actually LISTEN to their patients concerns.
I've had maybe one good GP in the past decade, and he was a young flamboyany guy that actually took anything you had concern with seriously and cheerfully. Made such a difference when the old fart working there for the past 3 decades consistently prescribed me antibiotics for rhinitis. That was the level of care I was used to getting.

I think he is playing to his audience. He visited our local vet to make programmes and the same sugary performance ensued, not what we normally get off camera. I did ask if he paid for the footage he gained, apparently not.

The collie’s owner has done a good job in keeping him fit, he has a few years left in him if my own collies are anything to go by. Another reason collies don’t like vets is they are the brightest dog ever and are quick to work things out. I couln’t find a kennel willing to board one of mine until I came across a kennel run by a farmer who said never a problem. So I asked what he did. He said he simply crouched in the kennel until the dog came up to him in his own time knowing that he was not a threat.

With white cats, it's mostly the blue-eyed ones that are totally deaf. Copper-eyed whites can be hard of hearing, or can have normal hearing. It's really not a problem as long as they are kept inside, and allowed outside only under supervision. I had an odd-eyed white(one blue eye, the other copper) who was deaf on the blue-eyed side. The other ear had normal hearing. Cute little cat. (Jan Griffiths).

i have had 4 pure whites 2 is blue eye and brown eye, one is blue eye and green eyes and the last one is both blue eyes. The four of them have normal hearing. i can be downstair and goes "fishy fishy" and they from upstairs came running down for food. lol i guess i'm lucky . lol

Snow, my beloved childhood cat was pure white with blue eyes.
My parents insisted on her being a barn cat and she was a barn cat for 9 years before FIV kicked in and i forced my dad to bring her inside.
      She lived to be 11.
She was known to fight my pitbull mix if the pitbull happened to look at her funny.
It was kinda hilarious to see a 90 pound dog shake in fear of an 8 pound cat. Sad, I know.

I was so surprised that you wrote that about them being deaf! Because, I have lost count of finding white kitties that ate deaf. Remarkable!
That was on my mind when I started reading the comments.

Even a smear of another color is enough to stave off the deafness.

    • @douglasgriffiths3534
      @douglasgriffiths3534 ปีที่แล้ว

@@teddycuda Yep. Many white kittens have little smudges of color on their heads near the ears. These smudges will usually disappear at adulthood. A fellow cat breeder friend of mine had Persians, and the white ones all had these smudges. All had perfect hearing, even the blue eyed ones. (Jan Griffiths).

I think Vet on a Pedestal is perfect for Scott. I've been watching since this has been on TH-cam and I have the highest regard for him. Like Ali said in previous episodes, Scott really cares and you can't fake that. All the guest vets and vet nurses are also pretty special. When Scott took Shearer's muzzle off in the cage before taking him upstairs, I held my breath until I saw him at the top of the stairs. But even Shearer knew Scott was no threat and cared. And I'm so happy Bafta's mast cells were low grade and Scott got it all. Alba is the most precious kitty, and I'm so glad the woman who brought her in adopted her. I loved everything when Scott went to the donkey sanctuary. Donkeys, goats and dogs - that whole family has a special place in Heaven. Even after the Manchester incident, they still have so much love to give. And those Rottweiler pups were SO cute. If I didn't have three dogs and a cat I'd adopt a Rotty as well! God Bless you all!

My parents' dog is the same. She needs tranquilizers to go the vet. She panics runs through the clinic and tries to climb the walls.

I didn't like it when Shearer's owner said that scott wouldn't mind potentially getting bitten... of course he would mind . It's just that he is willing to treat the dog and try to avoid a bit.

I didn’t know there was a law in place, in the UK, about having dogs microchipped. That’s a great law. I wonder if they have it here in the US?
I had my dogs microchipped as soon as I adopted them.

These episodes were likely filmed years ago, with the actual episode having aired March 2018. Olaf, the goat at the donkey sanctuary, arrived at the sanctuary sometime around July 2017 and passed away August 2018. So filming would have taken place around three years ago.
I also hope that they are all healthy in these times, but don't worry about them not wearing masks in these episodes.

says and shows them looking closer to the nose of the pug for the lump but surgery shows on the cheek instead of "in the skin fold next to the nose" so either they mislocated the original, or she had more than one lump.

Loved the show as always Scott is the best. Love how he is always so caring and goes those extra steps to help his patients and the owners. I was really touched by Wonky Donky and would love to know if one of the Aunts (Josie) read the book to her grandson, nephew, etc. and posted I believe on Facebook. I laughed and cried so hard when I listened to the children’s book. I’m so sorry to hear about the bombing they should use the book with her reading and the story of their injuries to help raise money for the sanctuary. If not that then those that got injured, etc. I’m from USA would love info on it. Thank you Bondi Vet love all the videos I’ve seen started watching about 1 1/2 years ago. 🤗
