Absolutely love your videos. I was sad because I didn't think you did Celebrity ships. I just happened to click on this video and recognized your voice immediately. So happy I found it. Your videos are the best. Very well done and informative.
Great review! We are on the Ascent over Christmas and while we have been on 31 cruises, never on Celebrity. My biggest question is dress codes for dinnertime. Pants required not shorts, etc.
My wife and I are looking for an all-inclusive cruise like they use to have in the 90's. Celebrity Ascent is nickel and diming it's customers which is not appealing at all...a cover charge and a members only area on a cruise ship???? thanks but no thanks...moving on to see what the next line has in store for us.
The Solstice class doesn't have the retreat only front area. But it does have the nickle and diming. Seems Virgin and then some of the higher tier lines have much less of the nickle and diming. Cunard and HAL have less as well.

I’ve sailed on both RCL and Celebrity. I feel like it depends on what you’re looking for. If you have kids, I’d go with Royal. There really isn’t much for kids to do on Celebrity. We don’t have kids and loved Celebrity because we felt there was more focus on other things, like higher quality food and service. I really don’t care if there are no waterslides or bumper cars or Flow Rider on Celebrity. The food and service were much better on Celebrity.
@@SpartanBlueJay2awesome, I am big fan of the RCL buffets. How does Celebrity stacks up with the Buffett quality? How’s the Caribbean night buffet selection?
You mentioned Craft social bar with some premium scotch and liquor. Are these premium liquor included in the premium package? In the premium package, it indicates that it will include alcoholic drinks up to $17. If the price of the of drink is over $17 do I have to pay whatever is on top?
We went on the Beyond last year, the ship was amazing and service was excellent, the only down side is that we felt like second class passengers not being able to access the front of the ship, there is nowhere to sit and watch the ship sailing forward unless you’re a Retreat member 😪🛳
Yup. Hope they bring back the observation lounge in their class after the Edge class. Also they got rid of the library and a few other quiet areas as well.
finding out you do other ships as well has been an amazing find. you're the best in the business! keep up the fantastic work

Thank you so much!
Thanks for the tour Matt. We're really looking forward to our upcoming sailing on Ascent.
Thank you so much for this awesome tour of the ship. This has been so helpful to my husband and I.
Happy to help!
My wife and I just got back from a cruise on Celebrity Reflection and booked another one on Ascent, can’t wait! Great video
What a stunning ship and it looks SO perfect at Christmas time!
I actually get to go on it this Christmas!
After taking 35 cruises, our voyage on the Celebrity Ascent was THE BEST ONE EVER!!
I'll be cruising on this ship in 2 weeks. Thanks for the cool walkthrough.
Best review of this stunning ship! Thank you. 🎉
Thank you for watching!
Excellent video! Cruising on Ascent in March. Cant wait!

Sailing on Feb 4th, Can't wait!
Great informative video, looking forward to sailing on Beyond and in the future Ascent
Nice!! Can’t wait to go in this cruise next year. Do the main dining restaurants like cosmopolitan and Normandie inclusive in the cost ?
Yes, they are included!
Oh, Wow! Wasn’t expecting to hear Matt doing this…was figuring it would’ve been either Allie or Angie (maybe Elizabeth…)
This cruise ship was charted by the rich Ambani family from India as part of the pre-wedding celebration , Mediterranean cruise for their son Anant.
great job

Are the celebrity cruise lines worth the money over an RCL Oasis Class ship? What are the big differences?

Yes. You pay the difference. Not many drinks are over $17 but I had a couple for a grand total of $4
I booked for Jan 2025. Does this ship feel crowded at all?
