This cutscene almost made me cry and then my mind just went "Venti didn't just give them wind, wind can carry songs, poems, souls so the voices of Rosalia, Kaeya and Diluc's fathers were also brought by Venti's wind, he used that ocassion to let them embrace their memories"

This cutscene blew me away. Rosaria’s father, Kaeya’s father leaving him (and apologizing for it), and CREPUS TELLING DILUC HE’S PROUD OF HIM. And Razor’s parents- they look so young. And they’re on Starsnatch cliff, a place that several characters mention being a place that lovers go. I hope they’re not dead as I fear, and we see them eventually. And Erika got to sing!!

Razor's parents is a retcon contradicting the official story. The name Razor was given by Varka, not by his parents:

Venti and Nahida are honestly the best archons so far. They both love their people and are willing to always do right by them. Venti by granting them the freedom to make their own choices and never impose his will upon them, and Nahida by keeping them safe even when they don't respect her. Venti never seeks authority, and Nahida never seeks glory, and both have my heart.

That's the point isn't it, while everyone considers Barbatos to be the absentee archon because he isn't actively ruling over his land, the truth is that he's the closest to his people because he lives alongside them. It's kinda why Zhongli's retirement is basically him copying Venti.
@@kyoken8691 exactly. I don't think Venti is an absentee archon. He changed his form and lived alongside them and guided them, looked after them, and made sure they are safe. Venti is so underrated as an Archon. For what it's worth, he shares the same story as Kusanali, who watches over her people even if they don't know it's her
@@kyoken8691 well zhongli has already lived alongside his people like venti for a while, but he still govern over them at that point unlike venti who just leave everything to the people. Well venti and zhongli are kind of close friend so they probably talk about it a lot and maybe zhongli decided to be like venti.
This event makes my heart warm, the fact we saw a shy Kaeya and how fast he change to be happy cause Adeline tell him to stay for dinner. Also, Diluc doesn't said anything bad to Kaeya and that was beautiful. I would never forget how happy was Kaeya.
They have a complicated relationship to be sure. Poor Kaeya is kind of caught between the burdens his birth father dumped on him and the home and family his foster father made for him.
Kaeya acts all unbothered and just diverts the topic whenever he gets asked about his family but this event showed his soft spot for his ‘family’ i.e diluc, adelinde etc

Venti Is such a good archon!! He spends time with them protects them but also lets them do their own thing. He also helps normal citizens in their wishes!! Best Archon for me, close to Nahida who also help normal citizens
Nahida sacrificed herself for her people became a small Childe and lose her memory then her people stop believing to her because of that what an archon venti still the at the first place nahida is so close she's doing everything she can even if nobody believes her

It's unreal how good Mondstadt lore is. There's so much good backstory and potential for future stories, on top of the characters being already amazing. Mondstadt might be "just a beginning area" but it's where I will always come back to. A place I can consider home in this game.
Well we got a lot of mentions of the Port this event so I wouldn't be suprised if we have a region of Northern Mondstadt added in one of the 3.X patches.

Spiral Abyss is located in Mond so I bet Mondstadt will be in one of late archon quest. Dornman port is also teased so it will be definitely one of Mondsadt expansion in near future. Can't wait to Ayaka ice bridge from Dornman Port all the way to Sumeru City.
I think Mond will be our final destination again after the Cryo chapter. The entrance to Celestia is literally the statue of Venti
@@kazuha1729 actually i think venti's statue isnt the way to celestia, it could be on windrise since his staue is pointing there where it says "the gateway to celestia" and in the manga vanessa ascended in the exact same place!
hearing kaeya's dad and crepus nearly made me cry. the people of mondstadt come from everywhere with such different, complicated backstories, but they're all family to one another. i hope they keep making mondstadt events like this
Same. The Ragbros lore always makes me sad. But so does Mondstadt in general, they never disappoint with the feels when it comes to the Crown of the North. Which just means it'll be even more heartbreaking if there ever is any war like events/stories that take place in Mond. like it has for the other nations so far

I’m so happy to see Razor finally getting the attention he deserves. He’s been a fun and adorable character from the start, and seeing him get some development is wonderful.
This looks like an ending scene when it’s only the beginning of a long journey ahead.
And I absolutely love how involved Venti is with his people. He always blends into the group without minding his status
I hope everyone will make it back to taste the wine in the end

AR 56 as Kaeya main, I was crying with happiness
I adore and love the fact that they actually HEARD their parents' voices, not just some cutscene effect. Venti saying that he had to take a very deep breath to get the winds of the far-flung past to the PRESENT during a festival about family makes me adore him even more (very God of Moments/Time of him). He made Razor hear his parents to reassure him that he wasn't abandoned and that he was very much loved by them, clearing away the insecurities he had during the entire event quest. We also got to hear Kaeya's father APOLOGIZED that he had to leave him at the Winery, there wasn't a "Forgive me, Kaeya" in his character story at all, this solidifies that he was a GOOD father but had no choice but to leave his son at Mond. This could mean that Venti actually recognizes Kaeya as one of his children, doesn't matter where his origins are. If Mondstadt became you're home or safe place then you're one of his children too. Diluc hearing Crepus say that he's proud of him make my heart go soft.
I FORGOT TO ADD THAT VENTI GAVE RAZOR A SMALL NOD OF REASURRANCE AS WEL NUGGMIHGNGNGNJHGV. I love this suspicious bard who's canonically also our best friend (he deserves that title). He truly loves his children so much, I know for sure if he wasn't the God of Freedom he'd be the most active since he blends so well amongst the crowd. He may not be present with them as "Barbatos, the Anemo Archon" but he's always present as "Venti the bard". He gave his people a choice to worship him or not as well, the fact that they did choose to respect him and worship him speaks volumes of how much Mond adores their Archon. He's such a comfort character to many even to the Traveler. Truly one of the best Archons for sure.

The sweet thing about the event is that Razor now knows he was loved by his parents and wasn't abandoned like what he was worried at first. And also that he isn't alone with friends in Mondstadt.

@@miguelrojas906 she IS an orphan. It’s heavily implied that the bandit group that took Rosaria also destroyed the village and killed the people in it, Rosaria’s parents included. The voice in the cutscene is one of the leaders of the bandit group who (heavily implied) saw Rosaria as his child and ultimately let her kill him to save herself. Rosaria’s conflicted about her feelings for him (understandably because he might as well be her real parents’ killer), but she often wonders if he saw her as his daughter, so she does have certain attachment to him even if she doesn’t see him as a father figure.
The scene where Razor see the glimpse of his parents was so adorable 😭🥺 i hope the dev also create a event in the future where all of them open up the barrier of thousand wind wine 🍷 one day........

@@kikimi nahida seems to look better in a glance just because of how bad the situation in sumeru is, but both venti and nahida are definitely equal in terms of loving their people
It's amazing how they managed to fit in EVERY Monstadt related character into this event story, a coherent story, and deliver emotional impact. (I also realized how many of the characters are similar to Razor's situations, a lot of orphans)
Not every Mondstadt character, we didn't see Mona, Fischl, Eula (and i think it's quite a shame because she too has a complicated backstory with her family it would have been a nice addition) or Albedo.
Anyhow it was truly a great event, greatly enjoyed it. Hope we have more events like this in the future !

@@marinsoletti6586 no ALL of them were featured. Mona and Fischl were shopping, Amber accompanied Eula on our shop to order food for her Recon team, then Albedo passed, same with Barbara.

Yeah, people speculate that it might be Varka which also can be true, but I think the sentimental value would be enormous if it was the “father” - the old man who traded his life for hers when she was in the bandit gang.

@@i_i_hope_i_i it is a possibility that Razor’s parents are long dead, but it was neither confirmed nor denied. It might just be a similar situation to Alice. She left Klee with the Knights but still very much alive.
Of course, we can confirm Alice is alive because she’s sent things to Klee recently plus the first Golden Apple Archipelago.

Genshin has shown us variety of stories, but this is definitely one of my favorites. Family and friends are very important to me, so I cried a lot when the cutscene was shown on my gameplay earlier. The reason why I keep playing because of these stories. I lost my brother and mother to cancer and Genshin saved me from depression.

While Zhongli is my favorite Archon overall, I can't help but love Venti as a character. While Liyue's aesthetic and music are my favorite, I can't help but love Mondstadt. The bond between the characters is freaking precious and wholesome, it always warms my heart. I love seeing them like a family. Mondstadt will forever be home to me.
I cried so much when I saw this cutscene. Venti is hands down one of the best characters in the entire game. He cares very deeply for his people and it shows in the way he thinks all of them as his children. Mondstadt will always feel like the true home in the game 💚💚

Such a heartwarming event, really reminds me of the windblume festival, i especially love that scene with Diona and her father and Razor remembering his parents.
I hope eventually Venti's true identity gets revealed to all the good friends we made on this glorious adventure, you can tell how much he cares for everyone.
Sincerely, I hope it'll never be publicly revealed that Venti is Barbatos. It could destroy the genuine friendship he built up with them by making them worship him instead. Just think about it: not everyone has the mental strength to keep acting chill and normal when their very god is living daily life among them like a normal person, like Diluc, Jean or Alice (we all know she definitely knows. Even Lisa knowing about Venti wouldn't be a surprise to me at this point) do.

It was wonderful to see Razor's parents but also felt kind of sad considering they are both probably dead. Adventuring is a pretty dangerous occupation. Does make me wonder how Razor ended up with the wolves though. That still hasn't been explained.

It's understandable if he found razor at the age where razor can think and make choices . so razor could've ultimately chose to stay with the wolves whilst still learning about his humanity via varka and lisa teaching him
if he did find razor in the forest as a baby and just left him there that would've been messed up
@@moonchii7941 I am not sure on the reason why Varka never took him back to the city but Razor was never abandoned. Varka actually regularly visited Razor and even thought him how to fight, that is why Razor respects Varka and have fond memories of him.
Kaeya and his father. 😭 I hope we get to see a cutscene or an animation of his backstory and that his father is still alive.

This cutscene really got me. I literally covered my mouth when hearing all the fathers voice-overs, especially Kaeya’s and Diluc’s, simply because of how much of their lore I looked into. And Razor, oh my god, that’s where it hit me hard, him being able to see a vision of his parents, that really hit me. This entire scene almost made me burst out crying. By far the most heart-warming scene I’ve got to witness ever on the game. Well done.
It's adorable how Venti hangs out with the kids. Makes me think of his story quest and how much he treasures the innocence of children.

I never cried when it came to tragic scenes like death or such. But when it is the most simplest things like the act of kindness, sharing laughters, sharing love and support toward each others, the realization how much the others is important to them …it just always get me 😭

No matter how many nations I've been to, all the sights I've seen, Mondstadt is still the only one that feels like home to me. It's just like a family there, and it just always has the most positive vibes of all the nations we've ever been to.
For me, Monstadt is like home. Liyue is like a calming spa trip I'd take every once in a while. Inazuma is a place I'd traverse to sightsee. Sumeru is somewhere I'd go to further my adventures.

Venti is my absolute favorite archon so far. Despite being characterize as being an "absentee" archon mostly due to his sudden hibernations, he still protects monstadt in the sidelines while remaining true to the ideals of freedom that he is famous for.
Nahida is a close second so far. I mean I like the other two too. Zhongli is like the actual dad/granddad of everyone who might have been too straight-laced and somehow distant. While Ei is a traumatized, over protective mother who struggles to communicate her ideals properly.
The Kaeya and Diluc part actually brought tears to my eyes. I love how the game actually talks about Kaeya’s backstory like they do in the manga.
started sobbing as soon as dilucs father spoke to him,and then as i saw razors parents and razors eyes i started crying man,its just so heartwarming to finally see whats up with razors parents,i love mondstadt so much.
Mondstadt is such a heartwarming and truly beautiful. Every character there is just so unique. This event literally brings me so much joy I actually almost started crying 😭

@@Merlin1908 get out of Mondstadt front gate, turn right, pass by the boy that talks about the Dandelion Sea, and walk about 10 meters more. Rosaria is basically watching the festival from afar, right across the lake.
this cutscene made me feel so happy and sad at the same time. I just loved seeing this, everybody being family and enjoying the weinlesefest. It made me feel so warm and joyful. I just love mondstadt a lot! I'm so glad I did this quest, this quest is something I'll never forget. And also that scene where rosaria, kaeya, diluc and razors fathers voices were shown, it was so heart melting...
This cutscene got me in the feels for everyone, Almost like that feeling when it's Homecoming
I started crying when the characters started hearing voices of their family's/people close to them. Genshin never dissapoints ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ💗

It's... honestly incredible.
This is afterall where our journey started, coming back home to familiar faces and lovely Lisa ofcourse my first love, seeing our little spark knight helping out in her own way alongside Bennett, kaeya and diluc reaching a sort of progression with their relationship as brothers in their own way, this event was as perfect as it can be....feels like home and I cried :')
Only thing that hurts more is that THIS ISN'T PERMANENT?! like come on the potential this game has seriously....

Really wish we could know more about Kaeya's back story, he has such a great design and personnality but there are still many mysteries around him. The fact that he's probably one of the last survivor from Khaenriah's disaster makes me even more curious ngl. Also I'm pretty sure there would be some some stuff going on or related with him when we finally get to the Khaenriah chapter (if not before).
